There is software by thirdpary companys such as adaptec's errr Roxios...errr now finally Symantec's Go back hehe. Anywho heres a link GoBack But clearing out a virus is not a feature of this software, or any recovory app. I reccomend getting norton of one of the major weekly updated virus scaners.

did u recently get any firewall software or a router..if so check what ports are blocked or open |Drew|

Try resetting your modem and router(if you have one) . And if your provider isent helping with uploading problems, i would sugest getting a new provider. |Drew|

For the limited experence with external sound cards, id not reccomend one, just for the fact of the additional cost. You could get a Audigy2 for nearly the same price. Unless you need addition ins and outs, midi and so on the extra money is not worth it. |Drew|

Remove it and restart it without the hardware installed. The shut sown the computer and put the sound card in another PCI slot. Install the latest drivers. Also try going in to your devive manager hardware section and sorting the devices by IRQs see what Hardware is sharing what IRQs. In the case which your sound card is sharing lots of the same resorces, move things around and see if you can get them to use their own. |Drew|

Right Click on desktop>Properties>screen saver> power settings> if there is Acpi or somthinglike that on one of the tabs. make sure the options is ticked. |Drew|

Thats odd Aaron. Mine dident work at all! THe second i poped in my 3com Tx it auto dectected and worked fine... =Drew

I you can get inside without breakin seals that would indicate tampering, you could take the fuse out and replace it with a solid piece of metal....that will tasfer all the current through and damage componenets. But make sure to break the fuse as well.. and keep all the seals not damaged |Drew|

When i try to move certian file...particularly movie file of some sort, i get a error moving file, due to the fact that its being used by another application. But the problem is its not being used...some of these files are just freshly dowloaded and have never been executed or modifyed in anyway. I have tryed clearing history and restarting ad even running in safe mode. The **** things will not move. Some times randomly they will up and work no problem, but im quite confused on why this happenes. I recall there being a way to clear WMP's cache and there are other ways to help this but im at al loss, can anyone help me? thank in advanced |Drew|
