Well if you want to keep your existing router inplace, i would suggest getting a linksys wireless access point, it wil plug into your router adding wireless networking capablities to the house... =Drew

DDR Ram is the most commen ram used currently, In both AMD and Intel. So i would reccomend getting about 512 of DDR 333 thats becoming the standard. In regards to what you will need to upgrade, you will need a MObo, CPU, heatsink/fan, ram. Depending on how old your current system is you may have to upgrade your Power supply to P4/xp complient. You can double check by going into your bios and enabling HT...It should say on startup that you have 2 cpus Also in responce to prvius comments, dont expect double the performance out of HT, Hyper threading is a sythetic cpu that more effeciently deals with lost clock cycles..its not phyically 2 cpus in one nor will it perform like one...is mearlly a performance boot...somthing like 30% at bets. =Drew

That is a good idea, thouse sliders did get loose after awhile...but it took some serious use. Thou, tablets are still problamatic...they NEED solid state data HDs to go anywhere..additionaly they should have a front lad mini or full size cd rom...without thse they will fail worse then the FX5800 ultra hahah =Drew

256 will work..i have seen it run on less. But keep the system clean, any apps or games you dont use, u must remove. Keep the Intenet cach to a min as well as run frequent defrags. =Drew

iIf the HD was working fine and without any modification, just stoped working....im thinking the harddrive is dead. I would reccomend unplugging all the other HDs and setting it to master then finding the manufacturer HD Fitness test. If the Fitness test doesnt recognize it at all, move it around on different IDE channs, repat the test and see if it sees it. Try differents cables and final try anther system, if those all tur out negative, looks like you have a tosty HD GoodLuck =Drew

In my experience Easy CD 5 as well as the Plat has been a very inconsistant application. On some Xp machines, it works perfectly, while on others it has caused endless problems and even system failure. Because of this I generally reccomend staying away from it and using Nero, i find it to be one of the better burning apps out there, without all the fluff =Drew

Try changing out the Vid card, just for the hell of it, i have seen some odd things when vid cards are dying. But besides that it does defintly seem that your Crt is on its way out....too bad I got me a Nec C550 and its been kicking a** for atleast 6 years now! =Drew

Unreal 2 was total crap IMHO Some of the guns were interesting, but besides that the enemies were lame and the game play was pretty weak. As Maximum Pc put it, When you see spider enemies its like the authors saying "we give up! We have ran out of ideas!" Overal rating 2 out of 10 =Drew

Depending on what Core you decide on ..auto wont nessarly do the trick. Form my experince, i have noticed that the majority of Mobos detect Athlons Xps to a 100fsb. this seems to be defalt. If you have the 16-2600+ thoubread then the fsb should be 133 if its a 2500+ or other barton care it should be set to 166fsb. IF you have the latest 3200+ the fsb would be 200 =Drew

Theres no way that your running a 3.06 at 533 to get 3.2 . The only way to overclock Intel cpus is to bump up the FSB. THat its unless you have found away to mess with the multiplyer..which has been locked in almost 100percent of all retail Cpus. =Drew

Nice lookin innards...but why in gods name would you dump all that cash into modding out a Cavalier.....Thats like over clocking a old 300a with liquid nitrogen....Even if you get a serious performance increase....its stillno were near the speed and power of the most commen cpus out there presently.. =Drew
