  1. Theres is a fix for SP1 as it can make some computer stop and slow down the same thing happen to me took my computer 30 mins to laod after installing SP1.
  2. Its like he say the ISO Images are bootable just put your files in there and click save in WinISO and then burn use a cd rw software.
  3. LOL! I installed it this morning! :rofl: Why wuld you do that it must have problems with your hardware with a windows that old. :/ I'm using Virtual PC to run this... The only things that weren't detected (because I don't have the drivers) are the Sound Card, the Network Card, and the CD-ROM drive... Man, was it ever hard installing DOS, ! My disks were corrupted, so I had to re-download! Isnt windows 3.1 free to dwonlaod these days.

  5. Just tested ntoskernel.exe (NTOSKRNL.EX_) as a replaced file in the I386 dir and it works fine with no problems.

  9. WinISO is a program you can use to add files in to an ISO after it has ben created. Download it for kazaa or something like that.
  10. Yep download the empty ISO Image file from the unattended XP site on the frontpage and then opeun it in WinISO and Copy all your content in to the windows and click save.
  11. Its your firewall i had the same problem some time back disable it and it should work for you.
  12. Reset you XP Home Computer back just before you installed your network and create a network disk on your XP Pro computer and then run that network disk on your XP Home Computer that should do it.

  14. Yep and shdoclc.dll can also be replaced. i will post anyone more files which i test so people know which ones can be replaced.
  15. no as long as it is not UXTHEME.DLL or SFC_OS.DLL I have tested the follow which i have replaced it the I386 so it is install with windows SHELL32.DLL EXPLORER.EXE IEXPLORE.EXE NOTEPAD.EXE and i am about to test shdoclc.dll as you need that to replace IEXPLORE.EXE Desktop Icon.

  17. You can put your hacked versions of explorer and notepad etc in the I386 dir to replace the oringal ones and it works. :excited: :excited: :excited: :excited:
  18. I have worked it out at long last you need to change the another system file from the link on the desktop to change to your new icon. shdoclc.dll is the one which was backing up the first iexplore icon.

  22. same as sfc_os.dll but all others worked for me so its just them two now. P.S. i ma testing now with a hacked version on explorer.exe in place of the orinagal one to see if you can add your hack .exe files in there.
