1. Unattended installer is intended to be run during Unattended Windows XP install process and not as "update" feature.2. Yes, it WILL reboot, if there are locked Adobe files in your system. The files become "locked" after first use of Adobe reader after Windows restart; 3. Uninstall previous version manually, or close all programs, kill & restart explorer.exe task in Task List to be sure Adobe files are not locked on "ordinary Windows" if you need to update it without restart.

DriverPack Graphics A V5.10.1 All files in \D\G\N\M are binary the same as in \D\G\N. Put nvcv.inf to \D\G\N instead and delete unnecessary folder \D\G\N\M.

When updating it reboots because old version of AcroIEHelper.dll is locked by iexplore.exe & explorer.exe processes. Kill both in Task List before updating, then run AR705.EXE, then run explorer.exe process again. This way you'll make clean update without reboot.

Same over here, we need an immediate fix, god how many time should I download it?! Again here - are you updating over previous version or clean installing inside your Unattended CD? If it's rebooting when updating - I don't care - this version is not for updating. If it's rebooting when running on Unattended CD (I've tested and it doesn’t) - try change order of applications you install.

I make it for my Unattended MultiBoot CD with 6 versions of Windows XP SP2 + all post SP2 updates by RyanVM, more than 700Mb (uppacked) of drivers by Bāshrat the Sneaky, MUI pack, Symantec AV CE, FAR, WinRAR, 7z, Acrobat Reader, CCleaner, DaemonTools, FinePrint, pdfFactory, Sun Java 2 Runtime, K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, .NET Framework 1.1 SP1, TTF fonts, PartitionMagic, memtest86+, Drive Image, Easy Recovery and event working Windows 3.1 & Linux floppies… When you try to squeeze all of this to a single 700Mb CD, you’ll count every free byte, every free sector on CD. And because I consistently updating this CD - it's important for me to get as small as possible releases to squeeze them back to CD.

On clean XP or you try to upgrade from previous version? Sorry, I can't reproduce this behavior by myself.

Lite is Lite. There is left only absolutely minimum necessary to read pdf files quickly and left features like search, weblink and internet browser support. Everything else was removed. When installed Lite version takes less then 20Mb of you disk space compared to default >100Mb waste of space.

This file is missed intentionally to reduce size of the installer. AR705.EXE will not work or even install on clean Windows XP. Why I removed this file? Because it's a very common DLL library and it is installed by other applications like Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.38. So you must install Adobe Reader Lite AFTER these applications on your Unattended CD. nForce 78.01 has WHQL only for GeForce6 & GeForce7 and not for older chips. For my FX5500 Windows installs Microsoft default forceware driver now, but not 78.01. With 77.77 was everything OK. 1. Now I must roll back to "DriverPack A v5.08" version of the forceware drivers? 2. Why Windows choose it's internal drivers when newer version is available, but it's not WHQL? 3. How to remove/disable/ignore internal WHQL Windows nVidia drivers?

Yes, yes, YES!! AR703.exe is missing msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll files. But size of the installer is only 6,00Mb. These files are missed intentionally to reduce size of the installer. How many times I must repeat THIS? And yes, AR703.EXE will not work or even install on clean Windows XP. So, why I removed these files? Because they are very common DLL libraries and they are installed by other applications on my Unattended CD. And I don't want to waste space on my CD and duplicate same files in every installer. The application that installs both files is Symantec Antivirus 10. If you run AR703.exe after SAV10 installation everything will work perfectly. Especially for those of you, who do not install SAV10, there was AR703a.exe version released with msvcp71.dll but not msvcr71.dll file inside. The last file is installed by even more applications like K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.37 or Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1. So what you must to do is install Adobe Reader Lite AFTER these applications. And for those of you, who can't choose proper order or don't care about size, there is maniaq release with both files inside. Now everyone is happy?

How that is possible? Are we talking about Windows XP SP2? Acrobat Reader 7.0 is not working on Windows'98/ME. Made by myself. Is there any reason to read installers twice? I mean:1. Read from DVD 2. write to HDD 3. then again read from HDD and extract to the same HDD's temp folder 4. and only then install from temp folder? Waste of time...

I run installer from CD, not from HDD on unattended install like this:

7zSD_AR.sfx is my manually optimized file and it can't be edited by ResHacker. Icon must be changed before optimization or you will end with broken exe file. I don't care about how nice an icon looks like, because this is an unattended installer and it is intended to run automatically on Windows setup. Nobody will see it anyway. I've used smallest and pretty good looking icon for it (3kb of wasted space anyway ) Or, if you don't care about size - just use standard 7z sfx and any icon you want.I've released two versions. They work well on my Unattended CD. Sorry, I’ve no time to waste on further optimization now. Someday later, maybe. Here they are in one place: RyanVM's version is very good, except size and speed. I made Lite version only because of lack of space on my CD. Also because all Adobe Reader Speed-Up programs will delete these very rarely used plug-ins. So I thought - way to waste space on these plug-ins inside installer?
