  1. Shark!, You are fast in releasing updates, but your installers as always are not optimized and are not as small as possible. So, for those who care about the size of installer (like me) here it is mine, the smallest one (as always B)), version: Sun Java 5.0 Update 9 Switchless Installer (with Removed AutoUpdate) 8,06 Mb: http://rapidshare.de/files/35119211/jre509lt.exe.html (MD5: a851812e5a4ce9a200b47beb0acdbebc)
  2. Sun Java 5.0 update 8 Switchless installer lite (extras have been removed) : Download here Size - 8.09 Mb, MD5Hash = 2fc29b4e1cc6f4037c7842efc64f0bc2
  3. Name: WinAMP Pro (Audio Only) Unattended + APE + FLAC Version: 5.21.497 Size: 1.42 Mb Download: Link 1. Removed support for Sonic Solutions CD Burning Ripping engine that caused a lot of problems. 2. Complete removal of CD ripping / audio compression support (for riping music CDs EAC is better anyway.); 3. Added support for my favorite lossless audio format - Monkey's Audio .APE; 4. Added support for lossless audio format - Free Lossless Audio Codec .flac; 5. Fixed a problem with Monkey's Audio List file extension .APL; 6. .asf and .wmv file extensions are no longer associated with WinAMP by default; 7. Better compression, smaller SFX module.
  4. BSOD on MSI PT880 Neo (MSI MS-7043) w/8237. BSOD fixed by adding PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149&SUBSYS_04301462&REV_80 = "viasraid" in TXTSETUP.SIF
  5. It's because you tried to install it over some older version. Try it again on a clean system.
  6. Name: WinAMP (Audio Only) Unattended + APE Version: 5.12.275 Size: 1.88 Mb Download: Link 1. Removed support for Sonic Solutions CD Burning Ripping engine that caused a lot of problems. Don't forget to manually remove this engine if you have installed it. By uninstalling WinAMP you'll not remove this trojan like stuff: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\PxHelp20.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\px.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxcpya64.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxcpyi64.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxdrv.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxhpinst.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxinsa64.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxinsi64.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxmas.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxsfs.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxwave.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\pxwma.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\vxblock.dll (For riping music CDs EAC is better anyway.) 2. Added support for my favorite lossless audio format – Monkey's Audio .APE; 3. Fixed a problem with Monkey's Audio List file extension .APL; 4. Better compression, smaller SFX module.
  7. As always Bashrat is very distrait. This is not a first time I must fix errors before I can use driverpacks. BASE V5.11.3 FIX This time he miss a closing bracket ")" inside BTS_DPs_finish.cmd on a line #99.
  8. DriverPack Graphics A V5.10.1 All files in \D\G\N\M are binary the same as in \D\G\N. Put nvcv.inf to \D\G\N instead and delete unnecessary folder \D\G\N\M.
  9. nForce 78.01 has WHQL only for GeForce6 & GeForce7 and not for older chips. For my FX5500 Windows installs Microsoft default forceware driver now, but not 78.01. With 77.77 was everything OK. 1. Now I must roll back to "DriverPack A v5.08" version of the forceware drivers? 2. Why Windows choose it's internal drivers when newer version is available, but it's not WHQL? 3. How to remove/disable/ignore internal WHQL Windows nVidia drivers?
  10. Waste of money, IMHO...Look HERE and then compare prices of both CPUs (both are selected in red color on the chart).
  11. ;!@Install@!UTF-8! RunProgram="XCOPY *.* C:\CS3\ /q/i/s/h/r/y" ;!@InstallEnd@! InstallPath works only with modified installer. http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=13246
  12. If you working with only one PC - simply create a disk image (Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, etc.) after you installed SP2, updates, drivers and all your software and restore your Windows from that image when necessary. It's much faster.

  14. YES! RyanVM Update Pack 1.3.1 + All latest DriverPacks + BIOSTAR NF325-A7 (nForce3 250) + SATA HDD = BSOD + PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E5&CC_0101 = "pciide" =
  15. If you have a time to waste (about 10 hours ) and want to reduce i386 folder by few more kilobytes, you can try to repack all CABed files in i386 folder using best possible options. Check this out.
