Just back to IE6 to-night and it's "great to be back". The first thing I notice is the speed in IE6, it's flyin'! I'll be waiting for the final, whenever!.

I don't know when it stopped working, but it didn't work for me recently.

Same here. Still needs a lot of work done.

"Like it" with a "but". It keeps on losing my cookies and I have to continually login, sometimes twice in the one session for one site. In fact I am considering uninstalling it until improvements are made. It is also slow to open a page even though it has it downloaded. But it has loads of potential and I do favour it over IE6.

I just answered this question on another forum, I said then almost the same, (XP Home V XP Pro) but apparently not. Bit I am only Joe Bloggs and steer clear of these discussions. It seems MS will be supporting XP Pro years after XP Home. So that alone makes it better. I have XP Pro.

Hello lesp, open your calender page, click on 31 days, right click on calender page, choose, "other settings" make sure the box circled in red below is unticked.

From being 100% anti SP2 just a few weeks ago, the tables have now turned around to being pro. SP2. I reinstalled XP Home and was speaking to technician and he re-assured me it's not as bad as made out to be. I installed it after XP Home and all was well. There is one program Benign (B9) that I have not re-installed yet. It seems only MS will provide the fix required to make it run smoothly. I would say, install it.

I have everything MS disabled inc. SP2.

Has to be Spring with the re-awakening after winter months.

I just returned to IE6. I tried Firefox for a month and was getting too many problems. Some useful stuff on Firefox.

Thanks for your help folks. I am trialing Firefox and it would seem that is the reason. I had a peek at IE6 there and it is indeed showing. Again thanks. Will know to watch for that in future.

Not right now. I have all updates turned off. I am surprised at the number of "yes" votes, I thought that the majority of users on most of the forums were against updating to SP2.

I'm with my dial-up ISP about 4 years and am very happy with them. Only the very odd glitch.
