that means u remove it from your xpcd. or u have the wmp 10 kit broken. try to redownload wmp from MS.

copy the content of C:\i386 folder in your xpcd:\i386. and after edit the HIVEDEF.INF on the XPCD

well i think your cd allready has slipstreamed some updates which is giving the conflict. so u can post your problem at msfn nlite forum or try to use autostreamer. ps i think will not work at all.

also boot magic from partition magic.

vmware is a software that emulates an virtual machine into your computer. so u install it and it acts like u have another pc into your pc.

well i know that via just released new drivers for win x64 on viaarena.

u can write the iso on a dvd. i use dvd decrypter. start the program>mode>iso>write. that's it.

slipstream sp2 into xp cd with autostreamer or nlite. and then try again.

i think it will work cause at one time longhorn setup is asking where u want to install it.

yes u can. i did it using partition magic which has also an utility called boot magic so i can boot between the 2 os. so i installed partition magic on my xp start the program and create a hidden primary partition. after that i used boot magic so i booted the partition i created and installed windows normally.
