  1. Just so you know, Switzerland is not in EU, and I always felt EU was on the left side, Greece especially. Won't be travelling there to boost your economy, thanks for the heads up. "Cash is a frequently used payment method in Switzerland" https://wise.com/gb/blog/cash-or-card-in-switzerland "Can I Use Cash in Switzerland?" "the prevalence of cash payments" https://www.mydayfinance.com/archives/28207 Not OT since we discuss computers that can properly handle this bloated browser.
  2. Some 100 won't do. It'd be right if you said some 500 Euro notes. I'm looking at a new PC right now, I want to upgrade, it's about 3000 CHF for a new Desktop. Someone gave me a Haswel (2013), and it struggles with this Firefox. This one, a very cheap casing, ugly. https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/captiva-r89-085-amd-ryzen-7-9800x3d-64-gb-2000-gb-geforce-rtx-5080-pc-54336989
  3. Well, I used the Dell example to back your side, whereas in 99% of all cases it's advised to set the MB to IDE, and old boards, up to 2010, have it that way at defaults.
  4. You also said it's only partially working. Not going to pay for an alpha release. But thanks.
  5. Can I participate in the testing programme, I recently obtained a Haswel system. Thanks.
  6. Dell is rather obscure in W. Europe, it's cheaply made and not popular here. In any case, it contributes to what percentage of all XP sales? Less than one? Not a single retail CD was sold with such custom drivers. Largest OEM Siemens never included those, too.
  7. Of course it is, the error was brought up by the supervisor Himself, you have doubts about his seriousness?
  8. It doesn't matter. Not when a new MOBILE DEVICE costs as a half of a budget desktop PC. 100 Euro is nowhere near the price of even a budget MOBILE DEVICE from dealers. https://www.swisscom.ch/en/residential/products/smartphones/iphone.html Switzerland and UK have the lowest iPhone prices Among Europe's five largest economies, UK offers the cheapest iPhone 16 Pro at €1,095, followed by Germany (€1,119) and Spain (€1,138). https://www.euronews.com/business/2025/07/10/europes-iphone-price-gap-where-youll-pay-the-most-and-least
  9. Please don't mislead people. 100 Euro is nowhere near the price of even a budget PC from dealers. It's more like 2000 Euro. 100 Euro PC will never be able to freely run modern Firefox.
  10. No. Windows XP does not support AHCI natively. "AHCI drivers are not native to an off the shelf Windows XP installation CD" https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/locked-topics-desktops-general/sata-ahci-mode-and-windows-xp/647ea706f4ccf8a8de378bee
  11. This was only relevant for certain locations. I'm from Switzerland, here we are being taught only British English. And The Queen used to love our mountains. Not relevant, Slovakia contributes for 0.00000000001 of EU population, joined very recently, probably had some form of the obsolete American dialect in the schools, taught under the soviet boot. Now you all learn only British English.
  12. How do you know what I not fully understand? D.Draker was clairvoyant, you, no. No matter the intent, on such old version, many sites will not open, simple.
  13. This won't make the several years old browser engine new. So what of it?
  14. You are very welcome to ask, of course, we always greet active members with joy. But the sad fact is no one here can get you 100 percent guarantee. People who caught fakes are simply left, and no Extended Kernels developers present. Besides, like I wrote, Windows 7 userbase here is so thin. almost non-existent! No one to test it.
  15. The script worked very good on Windows 8! Thanks, @Monroe
  16. Welcome! How do you know dotexe1337 is dotexe1337? Is he verified? It's been already told about impostors.
  17. The original, verified account of the developer, in whom we had no doubts, was wiped out from the forum. People who tracked down those fakes @D.Draker, @Darth Agnon, @Dixel are no longer present on the forum, it's very unfortunate. Some members are still here, but not interested in Windows 7.
  18. Are you sure???????? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V8_(JavaScript_engine) Excerpt from Wikipedia. "V8 is a JavaScript and WebAssembly engine developed by Google for its Chrome browser. V8 is free and open-source software that is part of the Chromium project and also used separately in non-browser contexts, notably the Node.js runtime system. Other server-side JavaScript runtimes use alternative engines, such as Bun and Hermes. Wikipedia Developer(s) Google Initial release September 2, 2008 Written in C++"
