  1. Is it normal Chrome, not Supermium?
  2. It was said with honesty. You see, Amazon would simply fail within the closed pre-1991 Era Western World. With the demands and quality expectations of the Western population, no one would buy Czech Republic's Czechoslovakian flammable Skodas or their disgusting cosmetics that smells like hell, no one would buy the other overpriced, utter crap they sell at Amazon. But with the influx of the Eastern populace that came to the West after the fall of the wall, it all changed, the demands overall have lowered because they are fine with their crappy goods. Do you remember the goods we had before 1991? Again, as an American, you would probably not completely understand. The US goods weren't that fantastic to begin with, so sorry. I was very little in the 90s, but I still remember.
  3. It's all very confusing since you made several topics, but all relating to just one paid, the same, subscription. Yes, Vista is not a broken operating system. And I'm referring to the Haswell patch, under the same subscription. But it doesn't fully work, you wrote yourself. So having no DRM isn't anything fantastic, DRM would simply fail. Looking at your testings, it's more like vapourware at this point.
  4. Welcome, I once twice had a case where Win7 would BSOD until I replaced it, but Memtest86+ found no errors. Manufacturer: Kingston, Taiwan.
  5. Thank you too for the interesting conversation, for an American, your English is rather good. One (logical) reason could be to make an attempt to jointly prevent the French, or the Dutch, from overtaking the young, newly formed country in 3 days. But if the Brits knew how their sacred language will be uglified by the Americans, the deal would be off. P.S. A good observation,
  6. Is not reliable to trust. The RAM can still pass it, but not load Windows.
  7. What of it? It doesn't fix Vista, it's in Alpha mode.
  8. Yes it does, and it worked fine until 1990. Checkpoint Charlie, ring any bells? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Checkpoint_Charlie
  9. You can always purchase Swiss Crocs directly, avoiding Amazon. Suitable for your weather. Ge 4/4 is still available. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile_(locomotive) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile_(locomotive)#/media/File:Ge_6-6_I_407_Krokodil.jpeg
  10. I'm not surprised as Czech Republic is well known for its mediocre (at best) goods. On the other hand, that poor quality mass products fit Amazon very well, they can buy it for cheap and then inflate the price.
  11. No. Borders and lines between nations are good. This globalised World is the reason for the bad we see. I started to boycott Amazon about 10 years ago, when they introduced purchase limitations, exactly like they do in the Communist world. People in the comment section wrote, Amazon simply copies what Russia retailers do, including the not real sales. So, basically, everything bad we now have in the Western World came from Russia, China, Cuba, Vietnam and similar purchase limitations nations.
  12. Is not trustworthy, it belongs to Yegor Sak (a Russian?) in Canada. Logs will be used, as it is demanded by Canadian laws. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windscribe In June 2023, Greek authorities started criminal proceedings against Yegor Sak, the CEO of Windscribe, because someone using an IP address that belonged to a Windscribe server in Finland had breached a server in Greece and used it to send mass spam emails. After a two-year process, the case was eventually dismissed in April 2025.[9]
  13. Strange!!!!!! I always thought Finnish goods were one of the best, I almost always buy Oras taps, for example. And we have one of the best trains. Actually, I'm very tempted to not only ignore Amazon forever, I want to depart and isolate from the internet, especially now, with no D.Draker around.
  14. It always was. An overpriced China rubbish. I can purchase much higher quality stuff near my house with cash, much cheaper, like 3-5 times less. Bought an AEG fridge for just 700 Swiss Francs (800 Euro) locally, while at Amazon it was like 1700 or more.
  15. Why not simply ignore those sites? And if you paid for a service (streaming, for example), bombard their tech support until they remove it. Demand money back, etc.
  16. Do you have troubles with using cash? Like @VistaLover described about "outlawing" certain Euro bills in EU by the Greek (or other) governments. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186106-r3dfox-a-modern-firefox-based-web-browser-for-windows-vista-7-and-8/page/16/#findComment-1282311
  17. I pay in cash, I make a difference. I read D.Draker also pays in cash. Do you pay in cash?
  18. Just so you know, Switzerland is not in EU, and I always felt EU was on the left side, Greece especially. Won't be travelling there to boost your economy, thanks for the heads up. "Cash is a frequently used payment method in Switzerland" https://wise.com/gb/blog/cash-or-card-in-switzerland "Can I Use Cash in Switzerland?" "the prevalence of cash payments" https://www.mydayfinance.com/archives/28207 Not OT since we discuss computers that can properly handle this bloated browser.
  19. Some 100 won't do. It'd be right if you said some 500 Euro notes. I'm looking at a new PC right now, I want to upgrade, it's about 3000 CHF for a new Desktop. Someone gave me a Haswel (2013), and it struggles with this Firefox. This one, a very cheap casing, ugly. https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/captiva-r89-085-amd-ryzen-7-9800x3d-64-gb-2000-gb-geforce-rtx-5080-pc-54336989
  20. Well, I used the Dell example to back your side, whereas in 99% of all cases it's advised to set the MB to IDE, and old boards, up to 2010, have it that way at defaults.
  21. You also said it's only partially working. Not going to pay for an alpha release. But thanks.
  22. Can I participate in the testing programme, I recently obtained a Haswel system. Thanks.
  23. Dell is rather obscure in W. Europe, it's cheaply made and not popular here. In any case, it contributes to what percentage of all XP sales? Less than one? Not a single retail CD was sold with such custom drivers. Largest OEM Siemens never included those, too.
  24. Of course it is, the error was brought up by the supervisor Himself, you have doubts about his seriousness?
  25. It doesn't matter. Not when a new MOBILE DEVICE costs as a half of a budget desktop PC. 100 Euro is nowhere near the price of even a budget MOBILE DEVICE from dealers. https://www.swisscom.ch/en/residential/products/smartphones/iphone.html Switzerland and UK have the lowest iPhone prices Among Europe's five largest economies, UK offers the cheapest iPhone 16 Pro at €1,095, followed by Germany (€1,119) and Spain (€1,138). https://www.euronews.com/business/2025/07/10/europes-iphone-price-gap-where-youll-pay-the-most-and-least
