  1. Did you try another cable?
  2. Update: Logging in doesn't help even when people have premium accounts. Don't fall for that trick! https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/you-tub-vidoes-asking-me-to-log-in-when-playing-in/1b6d8eff-a5c2-4845-8bdd-927143520cdf?page=1

    XP and new CPU

Why would it be? XP handles Core Quads just fine, not to mention they are the period correct hardware.
  4. When I visit that link from a USA VPN, the JA4 "fingerprint" CHANGES if I refresh the page! But not from my British IP.
  5. Might be a personal suggestion based on the user's behaviour, also agree.
  6. Agreed, what he suggests is overly nurdy, I'd say.
  7. Also from London, GB. Not getting any banners of that kind or anything even remotely similar. Neither on the search, nor while watching the videos. The GB location tag can be seen at the upper left corner of my youtube's screen-cap. Specs: uBlock Origin + Ungoogled 110 + Win 8.1.
  8. Log files, what do they tell?
  9. "Cloudflare "challenges" cannot support the following:" "Browser extensions that modify the browser’s User-Agent value or Web APIs such as Canvas and WebGL." https://developers.cloudflare.com/waf/reference/cloudflare-challenges/#browser-support They forgot to ask for the keys from my flat. I say, screw 'em and their bs. Put such "sites" onto ignore, don't use 'em,
  10. You probably don't notice because the caps in your approx. 20 y.o. display just dried out. Dell 2407 is 2005- 2006. We are getting closer to the end of 2024. Your display matches the age of a young, pretty 18 y.o. female.
  11. How's this relevant? It's not a screen from MSFN.
  12. You wrote you're now demanded to have your e-mail to log in. And this off-topic post asking what had been already answered in the original post, for example. Seems like a rather bold statement. Compared to what, mind telling?
  13. Could this be the reason? Seems like they redirect you to the live version. "Thousands of Websites are collaterally blocked in Egypt" https://afteegypt.org/en/research-en/monitoring-reports-en/2019/05/19/17500-afteegypt.html
  14. Done. Normal. https://web.archive.org/web/20240908221027/https://msfn.org/board/profile/439450-saxon/ Brighter. https://msfn.org/board/profile/439450-saxon/
  15. Both cause stutters and instability on my system. Stutters, poor sound, spikes, when I run 3Dmark, it's clearly noticeable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3DMark January 18, 2006 works with XP. That DirectX 9.0c requirement seems far fetched because that package from June 2010 wasn't even released at that time.
  16. They simply don't want your location. A guy I know, also from Great Britain, practically my neighbour, got the e-mail immediately. Not the first time I read about you having problems when they count you as a spammer. MSFN e-mail login confirmations, for example. Try a good, paid, clean VPN, select a 1st World country, try again.
  17. The old copies of the site are gone. And the cached pages lead to the current site settings,
  18. It's a trend, it's like when they light up trees with bright LEDs. Everything gets brighter, light is everywhere. Just google how our planet is now all that bright and looks like from the above. Light pollution, ever heard of the term? I'm quite tolerant to such changes, yet I notice.
  19. Experimenting leads to this, so I just leave it at defaults.
  20. Not seeing any links.
  21. I'm from another country (GB), the brightness did increase. Areas where it was black are now dark grey. And I'm on Windows 8.1, unlike the OP. It has nothing to do with OS.
  22. In all fairness, it was better like it was before, and the little image/badge is blurry only because of the increased brightness, but the image itself is the same. Try to watch a video with text, pause it, add some brightness, see it becomes more blurry,
  23. Had a good laugh at the guy that claims to be from Southern Europe, writes Yandex is known for aggressive fingerprinting, yet tries to access it with such a zeal. Here's that extensive guinea pig test for either of you. Thank you and kudos to the tester. "Disabling all privacy-related extensions, including uBO" just to try to get to the favourite Yandex - wow! https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/910#issuecomment-2362536383
