  1. So! It's basically Ungoogled, right? No more need to apply patches @NotHereToPlayGames asked you to apply for him several posts before?
  2. You're one helluva dev.! I just saw you use 1700 Rysen, it's not far away from what I have (G4620), could it be performed on 8.1?
  3. Nice to know and thank you for taking care of potentially dangerous users! Anyways, the profile picture problem is still there. I uploaded a 44kb .gif image, just like it was instructed by the forum, yet it re-saved to 3kb.
  4. Respectfully, I apologise, but @NotHereToPlayGames has no way of knowing what was or wasn't done or changed in Supermium at all. All what he wrote here is speculations, not facts. And how does he know that any modifications were done to the Java engine of the browser at all? It's Java what is not working for the login window, I'm pretty sure you perfectly understand that. There was no need to meddle with the Java engine just to make the browser work on XP. It's nonsense. So far, all facts, including the ability to log in from oldish versions, similar imports to the v.124, non- working sandbox, etc. all point out to the outdated browser core, and @NotHereToPlayGames can't prove otherwise. With huge respect.
  5. Why do I get notification for your replies? I think it was another member who tagged you. @ED_Sln and @D.Draker, they ordered a version for Vista from the Chinese student, he made it after a couple of hours, and it runs on Vista WITHOUT SP!!! How long did it take for Supermium to geat there? Several years? And it's super buggy. Write to the Chinese student, probably he will make one for your XP, but it will take a bit longer, three hours, maybe...
  6. It's been checked already, no issues with any Chrome based (Brave, CatsXP, "normal" Chromium), all as low as 107, no issues with either nVidia or Twitch. We haven't tried lower, but someone tried 360EE, and the login window won't show up, probably, just like Supermium, v.86 also needs EXPERIMENTAL features to be turned on in the flags section to not fail!
  7. This is not true! Nvidia gaming website had terrible problems with Supermium, NOT ONLY TWITCH. Please closely follow the issues on github, and only then accuse people.
  8. We're already far beyond that point, the new Chinese browser based on v.136 works absolutely perfect with Vista. Been testing it for weeks now. No memory leaks, all is good. No buffer overflow like in Supermium.
  9. Supermium simply lies about the real version, UA (User Agent) and Client Hints (extended info about the Client) both pretend to be a higher version, which is not true. @VistaLover wrote about it here. But from the reality, as we see with Twitch, for example, it's NOT even at version 126! Why? Because the 3 year old Chrome 107 works fine with Twitch, and Supermium needs EXPERIMENTAL features to be turned on in the flags section, otherwise it fails! https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/?do=findComment&comment=1279237
  10. Thank you for the screens! Looks like Supermium/Thorium's real engine is maybe somewhere between the old 106 and 87, so @mjd79 was close enough. @D.Draker, I'm able to log in with Brave 107, but I don't have 360Chrome, so sorry.
  11. Excuse me, I'm not familiar with your shenanigans, whose ship do you mean? The developer's? Well, he reads the topic here, alright. As soon as I wrote the sandbox issue got closed, it almost immediately reverted to "open", but still no answer, either to the missiing sandbox, or Dave's question, for days now.
  12. Twitch and all of its functions, including subscriptions (upper right corner), work an the ancient Chrome 110 with the default flags position. And you, continue to kid yourselves further.
  13. No, and Dave'H's legit question regarding the versions is also completely ignored. I even think it's rude! Because, as we understand, the developer personally knew Dave from the days at MSFN. Dave even tagged the developer to make sure he answers, but NO answer, even though we all saw he had visited the site! https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/1279
  14. @mjd79 isn't "spreading" anything . The legit sandbox question was moved to "closed" without any answer from the developer! https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/1292
  15. I fired up my old Vista notebook with CatsXP, it's based on the oldish Chromium 115, I had no troubles logging into Twitch, and zero warnings like described on github! Again, Chromium 115 from two years ago has no troubles with Twitch! I suspect Supermium might even be older than @D.Draker thinks.
  16. It indeed runs without sandbox, people already started asking these inconvenient questions after D.Draker and you began to dig deeper into this browser. I knew there was something wrong with this browser, all those warnings about malware, now you discovered it has no sandbox, which is in the top of security risks! Besides: No smoke without fire! The first suggestion in the searches, Supermium and the word virus after it.
  17. D.Draker doesn't have those installed, I know for sure because I closely follow this man and read his posts.
  18. I feel you, I also have one million of BrowserMetrics-spare.pma about 5mb each, lots of them. It's causing my system to slow down, how do we change SM settings to not save these files at all?
  19. No, it doesn't, it say also. Colour issues of the browser are not "off-topic" and discussed even in github, Regarding RGB, you had been explained one million of times. On old, obsolete, worn out, out-f-specs tech. hardware, including the 18 years old GPU, the colours are improper, or very basic, due to the initial poor specs. RGB these days won't suffice, it's what they used in SCART during the 70s-80s, you need sRGB with the minimum 97% colour coverage, not 72 or whatever you have on your two decades old GPU and "less than 10 y.o." cheap "OLED monitor".
  20. Wow! And it's much newer, up-to-date with Google Chrome!!! Supermium is already old, despite being an Alpha release. Why would they release an almost half year old version?
  21. @D.Drakeralready stated, he doesn't have an account. Follow @D.Draker to stay in touch and get the latest updates on his posts. I just followed, very convenient. Why hadn't I before! How silly of me.
  22. Fonts render differently because of your video drivers, not OS. You obviously don't use the same driver on all OS. It's impossible.
  23. The acid blue colour is distracting, I like the default grey colour much better.
  24. You're confused. @Monolithik actually suggested to turn it OFF, whereas @VistaLover suggested to keep it ON.
  25. I have, but old. I can't install a higher version on my 8.1 notebook. With version 110 it shows an improperly formatted basic HTML page. https://www.britishgas.co.uk/identity/ Not true.
