Yes, controld is utter garbage, thanks for bringing it to our attention! I don't know why would anyone suggest it here in the first place. I think there needs to be some sort of post checking against dangerous advice that user gives.

Last Brave that works on Windows 7 is from the early 1.50 range or better 1.49 range. Basically you need to find the one that is based on Chrome 109. Later don't work.
