  1. This song was very popular in the early 2010's
  2. Same for me, I was trying to play a flash game from 2006, and it was fully broken. Hopefully it will be improved in the future.
  3. Ruffle is the first one i found. There's also Flashpoint which is a large collection of flash stuff.
  4. https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html Well, thats what they think I know there's a collection of flash games and emulators
  5. Hello again, I haven't been on highly active on msfn and I wanted to say why. It's mainly my love for Windows is going down. I felt i have done everything i have wanted to do, i have tried all the Windows operating systems, modifed them, bloated them and reinstalled them, but i have simply ran out of things to do. Any suggestions on what i can do is appreicated but It's getting harder to like. Due to my poor pc specs, I can't really use linux or apple in a virtual machine, and no i am not trying linux as a host. Well that's all and if i find something that i can consider intresting i will post about it.
  6. Hi @pecop from 'stralia and welcome to MSFN
  7. I come here wayyy to commonly.

  8. Never heard of online activation. I think Enderman had me convinced. I wouldn't be surprised, Microsoft supported the online games in Me/XP/7 until 2019/2020 even if it was virtually dead.
  9. They actually did it with windows vista, but it was only for developers for obvious reasons. ****** also was given the same warnings but now that post is old, as the POS Ready 2009 had ended support in 2019. So will it actually die? nope. XP's too popular, it has the longest life with 12 years, even as of 2021 it still has 0.56% You can still dual boot XP with 11! The community isn't dead, like the Windows 98 community.
  10. Got it! Ups.zip has all the updates, am i right?
  11. This might be the last update for a while. I almost got my account deleted, Made a tutorial on how to bypass windows xp's activation. Because i thought "Oh, Windows XP's abandonware. It's almost 8 years dead. The only way to activate it was through a almost dead telephone service." Now i will tell you, that's not true. Now i have 9 demerits (That don't expire) so i am here by the skin of my teeth. Have to thank the MSFN staff for a second chance, won't take that for granted. I no longer have COVID. I have no symptoms at all. I have been taking a stupidly long stay at my fathers, Meaning all i have is my phone and no laptop which means i can only use memory, can't test anything. The closest time i can update without memory is 2 days away. I have literaly replied to every windows related topic (expect server, i am not experienced for server, don't ask about it.) Why? because i have slowed my youtube watching because i want to help people. (And i am going to run out of my internet allowance) I am sorry if this is annoying you, then bookmark your topics! I am the little (N) -Nerdulater
  12. I have never heard of Windows 10 Firewall Control XP 7.5. My paranoid self took one look at the name and was suspicious, but no, there's only 1 detection from Dr.Web I will try it someday.
  13. You could try easybcd, but that's all i got. Download
  14. Dumb and unusable, But it shows how reliable XP can be!
  15. Never heard of it. When i got my laptop, it was on S mode. After updating to 11, it did not re-enable S mode.
  16. Well you should make a decision quick. I'm pretty sure after a month, The option to downgrade is disabled.
  17. I'm suprised. First time Microsoft hasn't shut down a service on time.
  18. Uhh? all of the download links are broken.
  19. Are you logged in to a administrator account? Or a normal account? Logging in as a administrator could fix it. Sometimes VMware even on 11 dosen't accept the administator rights i give it.
  20. Honestly, I just listen to the radio once in a while and it's not commerical radio either. It's the ABC (Australia) NSW Radio. Happy Together is good too
  21. Always! But the simulator is for phones that can't run 98 using dosbox or limbo
  22. A couple of months ago, i installed Windows 11 (21H2). Upgrading from Windows 10 (20H2) I was on unsupported hardware, so let me tell you my experience with Windows 11. I will being reviewing as many features as possible. So be warned, this for some may be a long read. PC Specs: Intel Celeron N3450 1.10ghz, 4 cores 4GB Ram 64 GB EMMC Hard Disk Intel Based HD Graphics Upgrading: I firstly, downloaded a iso of Windows 11, then mounted it with Windows Explorer. Opening Setup, I ran into my first problem. Setup didn't support my CPU, which was expected. Meaning i had to go into my registery and Add a DWORD to bypass the CPU check. It was easy, laughable. The only error i got from then was a warning about the CPU and how Windows Update may no longer support unsupported hardware, Since i am careful, i consent then start upgrading. Setup: Since i upgraded, i had virtually no OOBE (Out of box experience) Since then, i setup a VM and installed Windows 11 again for OOBE. There were new animations, left and right. The option to select a offline account disappeared, so i had to use a (I'm assuming is a devloper command) to contiune with limited setup and make a offline account. The classic privacy settings were there, Unticking all of them is a chore. (Why can't there be a disable all button?) and i eventually made it to desktop. Appearence: The dumbest decision from Microsoft, was to place the start menu in the center. We all know it's always been intended to be on the left. And due to Microsoft's Activation blocking appearence settings, it's stuck in the center. Rounded courners are a nice addition, but maybe they should fix the dark mode's eye sores. I have since installed Simple Classic Theme and RetroBar for my classic XP hybrid. Many elements have been recycled for 7/8/10 Such as but not limited to, AutoPlay dialogue, Ease of access, Recovery screens,Windows PE, and more. It makes 11's updated design a lie. Compatablity: It's mixed bag, a very mixed one, at the very least, Windows XP era apps work with their features intact, But Microsoft added a unnesacery feature, Blocking certain file names such as 'Setup.exe' even when most programs work due to 'Compatablity issues with security' Changing the filename is all you have to do to get around the check. Just shows how 'great' Microsoft is at placing restrictions on programs. Gaming: I don't have a lot of games, as i have multiple gaming consoles and my PC has very low specs, But i tried Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005, and it worked perfectly, without compatablity too. Other games will obvisouly not go as well, with people saying that performance dropped when they upgraded. So, take that with a pinch of salt as you like. Performance (General): I never noticed a major downgrade in performance, But i must mention that i had mutliple programs in the background, and my general test was a VM. Startup took around a minute due to a long log in time, and RetroBar and Simple Classic Theme having to load. Verdict: Windows 11 does need help. With useless requirements (A camera requirement will be introduced next year, Desktop PC's excluded.) Hate from all sides, even veteran Windows fans, restrictions on appearance and a internet world transition that is too strong, It's a no brainer that 11 is having a vista like hate, Microsoft is begging that 22H2 will pull them out of this vista like period. Time will only tell. 4/10 Rating
  23. Windows 98 Simulator is one of the most accurate 98 look a like's around. It's in 16x9, has a modern web browser and media player, just look at it! Internet Explorer has been updated, You can even play YouTube videos. Video: Top Gear Media Player has also been updated, Having MP4 and other file type support. Windows 98 Simulator also keeps it's intergration with Android, having a app list and allowing you to access it's file system. Application. (Android Only) If your a 98 Diehard, I think you'll be impressed by it! -Nerdulater
