@maile3241 @AstroSkipper I have an idea of how we can get it to work on Windows 2000 without Extended Kernel. I see that the certificate it generates is made with an SHA256RSA signature, viewing the changelog, the older versions generate an SHA1RSA certificate. If we could get a copy of the older version, it might work on 2000.

@vxiiduu Is it possible to patch the Python installer as well as you did with OneDrive? I prefer a system installer rather than the portable version. -
Another OT post, but if any of you didn't know, the online activation servers still work for XP with a unblacklisted product key. You just need the root certificate update. If you activate online, you don't have to deal with Genuine Windows Activation error on Windows Update. It connects to this url, https://wpa.one.microsoft.com Here is the SSL Test https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=wpa.one.microsoft.com It supports XP ciphers.
