What is your preferred release version of Windows 10?

actually my preferred release is windows 7 7601 (with all the 'importent' updates installed only) it's runs really well for a almost 21 year old and does everything I need it to do (including gaming) but windows 10 works pretty good as well and would be my 3rd choice if anything else should fail (my 2nd Choice would be linux) -
has anyone tried avira antivirus on windows xp? I had seen recently that they dropped support for xp/vista recently and was considering if it would be a good option anymore (if it's not ive found better options than this)

I've been working on updating windows 7 with as many updates as I can that are marked as 'importent' and have gotten every update thru windows update but how do I get the rest of the updates not listed in windows update? if anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated-legacyfan (I'm also on 64bit if that help)

I'm looking into different browser choices for windows 7 and chrome was what I found works best except that it can't be used above ver 109 so my question is has anyone gotten version of chrome above ver 109 working on windows 7? this has been a big research project for me and would like to know if anyone has found a solution yet to this problem-legacyfan

it's been faster and smoother with windows 7 installed I get 500FPS in games with the gt 1030

ive actually been on windows 7 for the past week now and my computer has never ran smoother (edit: it runs really well)

and how much space is your HDD? (in case its a low space issue)

I just figured out the one driver you mentioned worked to fix the issue with my computer not coming out of sleep mode (I should have realise that before I made this thread)

the latest gigabyte one for windows 7 fixed the problem now (I can only use gigabyte brand drivers or it breaks compatibility somehow)

the driver is unistalled now and will try again with the official gigabyte driver

and it says it the overclocked edition if that helps any

the one I have is from 3/23/2018 and the driver version is 23.21.13.9135

and got the driver from here https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1030OC-2GI/support#support-dl I got I got it from gigabyte not nvidia (my 1030 is gigabyte brand)
