You mean delete after the browser is closed ? What's the point ? In theory the telemetry could've been sent at this point already. I think the goal should be to prevent their creation in the first place . And no , service worker has nothing to do with login data, it's not a cookie , it's a tracking [fingerprinting] script . For example , MSFN uses it and you can see the log file for youself , though many parts are encrypted .

As far as I can see , there's a button Save Settings .

@NotHereToPlayGames, please excuse us , we just want a second opinion , it's like with doctors , you know . Perhaps he will shed some light on this problem . We are here to help each other , no ? Besides , Humming Owl doesn't have our favourite 13.5. So we are in the right topic , technically . Also , I think there's no language barrier between you and the other French person , since most French know English very well , though they could fail to admit it ! [I just told you a huge secret!!!]

I was wondering it myself , First - there is a "service worker" tracker folder [which is not deleted], second - there is a folder named "dailybackup" ?!?!. It has many files with "favdb" extension and each login session data for every day, possibly they are responsible? Yes , would be nice to hear @Humming Owl's opinion . Thanks.

An interesting discussion, I want to join . While I agree that "its" could be dropped , I don't fully understand the purpose of what you wrote after besides . In his sentense Youtube could NOT be considered a collective name because he wrote "youtube is" , NOT "are", so saying "their" would be a severe grammar error , don't you think ? So how is this relevant ?

No, I'm not . I run 64-bit Windows Vista, it can use all 16GB of my RAM . If a browser uses 3 GB, doesn't matter to me , but I agree it's no good, I think I said it earlier. Yes , I remember this is "Browsers for older OSes" forum. And I run 15 years old Vista . Oh, and BTW, it's spelled "nurds...." in Europe and pretty much the rest of the World . UK , AU , NZ and so on . Yes , I know how it spelled in the States , but this is a European forum and I'm from Europe. Also , we spell colour , favourite , harbour , lift (not elevator) . Elevator here means a harvesting machine. I think you wouldn't want to argue with Collins English Dictionary. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/nurd An agricultural harvesting machine , example how to use the word elevator : http://europepmc.org/article/PAT/EP1825741

You show as someone living in United States , am I right ? That makes me wonder where do you get these numbers ? Low end hardware in 2007-2008 = 2-3GB and some Core Duo E6400. Low end hardware in 2021-2022 = 8-16GB and some G4400-G4560 Pentium . Approx. 65-80 Euro at max. (second hand, good condition) . And this hardware is already "older" because it's 5-6 years old , at least. I hope you don't mind giving you my opinion , please don't get angry , I'm not forcing you to do anything and I'm saying once again , thank you for the work on 13.5.1030 build ! Sticking with old versions will definitely reduce the userbase , that's for sure . People will not force themselves to become nurds so they could browse Twitter on a super-duper ancient hardware from 2007. They'll go amok and upgrade to Windows 66 , just to use some newer browsers.

They were in a bad mood the whole day because they couldn't rip him off .

Yes , I think so too , very informative topic and the member @Dixel is friendly . I hope we shall have a similar tool for our favourite 360 Explorer (version 13.5.1030 or 13.5.1060) some day ! https://msfn.org/board/topic/183169-an-ex-dj-from-holland-hacked-mozillafirefox-code-and-wrote-a-tool-to-mock-this-pitiful-browser/

Anyways , I think he just found an excuse to avoid creating something similar , because it's very difficult and I totally understand that ! He doesn't owe us anything , he is not in our debt or anything like that. Though, I think he could've just answered with a simple 'no' and not play mind games .

Hi and welcome , the same to you ! Could I ask what HDDs have the lowest failure rate this year ? I'm gonna purchase a 6TB drive and don't know what to choose . WD60EFAX , is it any good ? Thanks.

Yes , chrome 86 released in 2020 and we shall soon be in 2022 . So I guess it's time to look for alternatives , it doesn't matter if this browser was good for a certain amount of time. It's in the past . I used it too and was satisfied and I 'm grateful , but now it eats up my RAM like crazy . One twitter page and 2,2GB is not normal.
-
I opened a page on Twitter , it's not even fully loaded , but the memory usage for this browser is already over 2.2gb , if I press "Speedup", it says "can release" 1.33GB !!! What's going on with the internet ? Is it normal ? The same with MSFN , just like the others said . MSFN is very heavy for me too . Proof :
