The last good were 10.x versions made by the American developers. Everything after 10.x is bad (in win32's and my opinion). Perhaps there is a chance they will replace your key ? Write to them and say you're not satisfied with that glitchy product. They shouldn't cut the U.S. development team off of their good job. Tell them you're an unsatisfied customer .

Gotta get rid of all unneded files first , remove all junk related to gathering info , updaters , etc (try to replace with blanks) . I do not use it myself (and never will) , but all those modern programmes are quite similar , esp. the ones that built on chrome , so it's just a suggestion.

Use older versions , like 80 or 81 , maybe even 82 (not sure about this one though) , they don't disable extensions by default . I'm wondering what changed between those and the newer ones. By the way , any luck on adding ResolveLocaleName ? If you remember about that weird bug with locales (Streets of Rage 4) , well I've found out that the game calls for it too.

Several years ago , 2016-2018 I think , I heard stories about people successfully installing Magisc and running it with Nox . Have you tried that too ? Well , maybe it would be wise to write a launcher with proper device fingerprinting and faking this app for an ordinary browser ? I can confirm , for me everything after 10.x isn't working at all , with 11.x and 12.x I can install an ISO , but when I press play VM , it simply does nothing. Tested on these configs with G3470 and X5450 , both with 16GB of RAM . By the way , what version is the best in the 10.x range ? Thanks

Very simple , you just need to choose the extensions which do not have locales . English only , and they will install. I assume you don't need any other languages , just like me :D . Also , if chrome starts howling about "wrong version" , you may unpack this extension with 7zip and force the installation in the >developer mode< from the unpacked folder. The developer switch is on the top of the page. Why do you need 4.6.2 ? It's buggy on Vista . I have had huge problems with it , despite what some others may say. If you want my advice , do not go higher than 4.5.2

No , just read the previous poster and look at his screenshot . Even with the ancient Chrome 55 such things don't happen. And Chrome 55 is like 4 years old (!) The riddle with tags is solved , scroll back. He obviously copy/pasted my first post and inserted it in his reply . And the tags and formatting got attached because his browser (obviously) is modern too . I'm certain if he had an ancient one , he'd just copied it in 'plain text' mode . I just asked you to specify your CPU model (which kinda makes sense for everyone here) and wrote that I don't have all of your issues with my CPU model . And now back to the topic . I have some news . I removed almost everything from Vista RTM with Vlite , even more than I removed earlier , tested again on Intel Pentium G3470 (Haswell Refresh) . Only basic services were left in the ISO . Of course I removed defender too . Everything regarding remoting , readyboost , indexing . And guess what ? Almost zero cases of that bug . Right now I'm rebooting the machine over and over again , and the bug is like only 7% of the time. I disabled HPET in the BIOS too ! Also , I've noticed that if you want this bug to occur more frequently , you can start by disabling services with system configuration . But if you leave your system configuration in "normal startup" mode , the bug will happen only in some rarest cases. Overall , the system is very fast and stable . All drivers intact. Try using local redirection method , described here earlier, just scroll back. It's bulletproof. And you won't need all of those useless updates.

Sorry , it's a bug with formatting in older browsers. If you're on XP , I suggest you try 360Explorer 13 with disabled telemetry (!), it's on Chromium 86. Also , Firefox 52 doesn't exhibit such behaviour on XP SP3 , as dencorso wrote. And about the other guy , I think he just made a copy/paste from my post , maybe he was feeling lazy to type it all by himself . Anyway , I remember dencorso wrote about younger generations being over-sensitive, it seems that it also applies to some other generations too...
