It might be what you think is trying to copy the file by checking the file version as well. but skipping the file may have to delete the string ( I gave the file string because For those who installed KB950616 before because I don't want to break the MS signing. It looks like kb835221 is an older file than kb888111. 5.10.0.5010 (form year 2004) 5.10.1.5013 form year 2005 Yes, the file has been changed to version 5.10.1.5013.

I changed the portcls.sys file to 5.1.2600.5566. You can try to find the file in the update folder, go to the update.ver file and try deleting the version string file. and try again
