I have solved the problem myself. I would like to fix it to run on newer service packs and I have released it for x64 still using the original file by hacking update.exe.

Today I tested my Windows Media Player again with PTP on Server 2003. (scanner and camera wizard can't open) I noticed a service called Windows Image Acquisition (WIA). is off by default If anyone tries to share pictures from their phone or camera, turn on this service.
