You know, and I don't mean to be off on a "soap box" on this, but I still DO believe given the chance people on the streets would like a shot to becoming a functional member of society rather than homelessness and fearing ones life on the wicked and brutal streets. I've seen a lot, but never got that bad because of luck and love from family, and that is something many are missing ... in fact. some go missing on the streets that "Trick" the wrong person and vanish without even known every day. Both girls and boys (even straight guys will "Trick") and nobody wakes up one day and decides 'I want to become a bum, a lush, and a junkie and a prostitute. Sure some get used to it and know nothing else, but they deserve a chance. Going over my long posting, I realized I made an error that might haven't been taken wrong. When I said more money for the state, that was error on my part, I mean, more money for that state to have to pay in and out and in the hospital over and over and people will give up. I've lived in a tiny camper for a few years and I was actually fine with that because a roof over head is still better than trying to survive to smoldering heat blistering cold. I never needed much and still don't and neither did my DD Father. All-in-all, I do hope this program works and is given a chance. While it may seem cruel to forcefully hospitalize people with mental illness, this might just be a 'saving grace' for some to find proper care and the chance at a life, because life on the street is not "living". Fall back to DirectShow if disabled. – Windows #enable-media-foundation-video-capture I'm reading this was only from Vista on up as well, so enabled would try and fail I guess trying to capture, but disabled would fall back to DirectShow and I don't have this capability. I wonder what is default then. Ideas? Hi guys, @msfntor Have you figured out how to avoid the nag screen "your connection isn't private" when that comes up? I usually ignore it when I know the site. Maybe it was already addressed here, but I missed it. I think its trying to detect when its security certificate isn't valid according to DC Browser. I'll try to do a screen grab when I can.

Hi My friend @msfntor I'll admit I was (sort of) following this as they've been trying this for so long and it always fails because "as is" this isn't going to work. Maybe they mean well (I hope so, anyway), but just ripping homeless people that are mentally ill off the streets into a hospital isn't enough. When they get out, if faced with the same circumstances, they'll return right back to where they were and the problem isn't solved. Some of my friends were faced with serious mental illness (schizophrenia / bi-polar / borderline personality disorder) and these can't be "cured" let alone solved with hospitalizations. I, Myself, have been hospitalized for mania, depression and psychosis ... let alone hospitalizations for acute alcohol intoxication (which many use to "mask" their illness or to escape their pain) - its all about the followup care afterwards, otherwise its a 'revolving-door' in and out of the hospital and all that does is acquire more bills to further set them up for certain failure, and for the Indigent, they won't have the means or even an address to mail the bill to, which means more money for the state which is the opposite outcome. Also, it takes dedication on the part of the patient to get their life together even when faced with insurmountable odd against them. I was luck my family took care of me until they could not, but many families disowned them and have written them off as "Losers". Also I reached a point when I became serious about pulling it together and sometimes it feels like I'm barely hanging on my a shoestring. All that being said: I do hope they plan to offer some follow up care for those to make this work to truly work on this problem, otherwise, it would be a shame to offer false hope to those ill folks. They would need to figure out or sort out the career criminals from the ill. I will say, when I did live in NY (mid 90's), I only would ride the subway when it was absolutely necessary and I will admit, I'd never go at night alone and it was VERY SCARY to say the least. Not to make this political (was not my intention - both parties have their faults) but I also see some of the proposals from another party when they ACTUALLY said (I'm paraphrasing as I'm only going by memory) to allow them to be killed off to rid society of filth. Yes you read that right. In fact that party would very much love to remove me from my housing as they (in turn) want to go back to permanent hospitalizations or prisons to lump the criminally ill along with those that in the right setting can be members of society. And a proper diagnosis will go a long way to determine why the person became a substance abuser so a better medication(s) could help them to overcome or stay ahead of their disorder. Please accept my apology for grammar and typos - I wrote it all. Honestly, there is no easy solution for this issue and it takes great determination and will to get through when there is little (to no) support from friends or family.

I might enjoy this instead of watching a movie tonight and fall asleep on the sofa.

Could/would somebody kindly shed some light on this flag. I've been experimenting with OpenGL and at times it seems better for video playback, but, also, D3D9 is better seeing as D3D11 is not avail on XP. I've tested today and it seems D3D9 is better. I've been called a lot of things, but smart isn't one of them. I barely graduated high school with learning disabled classes and I didn't learn anything because I was lumped with other that were severely disabled, but it was the 70's and 80's and they didn't know what to do with folks such as I, had they been more patient, I think I'd have done better, but oh well, many of my graduation class took their own lives from what I was told. Very sad! I'm here and I try, all I can say and I mean well. I guess I carried it with my that I'm dumb as a rock. It could've gone worse ... much worse, and I agree, posting about it isn't healthy for me. I need to be more "grateful" and "positive". I'm "true" and "kind" but not always kind to myself; and that I need to be more "mindful" of.

While I think having other forums to communicate with others online is helpful, I'd have to say, having more forums keeps me in the house and only increases my agoraphobia, which is why I'm hesitant to join other forums right now - doesn't help that I don't trust people anymore. Health forums are a 'no-no' for me now. Hard to explain and I struggle sometimes (most times) to make even little sense.
