  1. Well, in my case I have found Windows XP Professional x64 Edition to be a mixture of good feelings and practicality. It is mostly used for work or projects, It takes a lot of effort and time to set things up to where it all works out properly; especially in special or rare setups. I simply much prefer it over newer versions of windows because it just fits my needs quite well. I am not a fan of some changes Micro$oft has made over the years to their newer Operating Systems such as Windows 10 involving privacy issues and other things. Though further into the practicality of such... I have found that Virtual Machines also help in keeping a comfortable compatibility layer; allowing you access to certain technologies or software. For instance if there was a need to use newer versions of programs to perform specific tasks for work or other scenarios that you are not able to perform on your current older Operating System. So, ultimately I would say there is a balance, and that depends upon the users overall needs of course and what they care about.

  5. @TrevMUN Smart Defrag will assist you in Trimming your SSD Drives. That's what I use, and it's free too; simply run the program and click on Trim & Intelligent Optimize. Now, sometimes your SSD Device will show up as a Hard Drive instead of a Solid State Drive. Simply hoover over where it shows the HDD Icon and your Drive Name; and Two Arrows will appear, click up or down until you see it change your drive to SSD. As stated above, click Trim & Intelligent Optimize, just hoover your mouse over the arrow that's pointing right (It's next to the Trim button) and it will give you that option. I have yet to test Smart Defrag's Trimming abilities with NVME based drives but, I would expect it to work the same way; as long as windows sees it; it should also see it. Enjoy and Good luck!
  6. For those of you that don't know. There is a new 2019 update for XP / XP x64 & Server 2003 / Server 2003 x64 ! https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/search.aspx?q=4500331.
  7. I've changed my mind. I'm going to keep it up. Y'all have inspired me to not give up. So, XP x64 will remain my main OS for a long time; I can still squeeze more life into it.

Hah, I would also like to use XP. But both x32 and x64 have their own problems. In x32 - memory limitation, but I don't really want to deal with the implementation of changes in PAE. As for x64, everything is much simpler, but also more complicated at the same time. And no, the problem is not in the drivers (although there is something in it). For some reason, the sound does not work for me, although the drivers are installed, but looking through the device manager, I see device id that are not clear to me, which are associated with sound, lol

@Dibya Sorry for the late answer, I didn't notice, if you want to know more about this all - write to me in DM. My motherboard is Asus P5G41T-M LX3 Plus

  8. I believe I just found some new stable drivers and am also currently testing some others to make sure they work properly. So, hopefully if all goes well there will be new stable drivers uploaded by me.
  9. Ever wondered if you could install Comodo Internet Security Premium on Windows Server? Well, I'm happy to say it is entirely possible to do so; I've managed to find a workaround / simple tweak that will allow you to install Comodo Internet Security Premium on Windows Server! Just follow the Step By Step guide I've created. (You'll need 7-zip and Orca MSI Editor in order to proceed). Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/qabvqam2p5pyehv/CIS_on_Windows_Server.7z/file As always I hope this is helpful. Enjoy! Sincerely, XP-x64-Lover
