  1. @Dave-H You are welcome to forward this e-mail to me for testing purposes, but please do not use Eudora.
  2. @Dave-H The Style Code with Web Open Font Format in the HTML mail leads to the processing errors where the frozen pause causes in the Microsoft Viewer at Eudora. It has the reloading of pictures ect. no influence. I have sent you two modified e-mails (Style Code with Web Open Font Format removed) for testing in Eudora. Therefore the idea may be a plugin for Eudora with which such code will be removed, similar to an ad blocker with which it is possible to remove certain code from a web page. Unfortunately, I did not find anything for Eudora.
  3. The following code from Sky's e-mails uses Web Open Font Format (woff file), which is only supported as of IE9 and ensures long loading times. <style type="text/css">@import "//helpforum.sky.com/html/assets/toolkit.css";@font-face{font-family: "Sky Text"; src: url("//www.sky.com/assets/fonts/sky-regular.woff") format("woff")}@font-face{font-family: "Sky Text"; src: url("//www.sky.com/assets/fonts/sky-medium.woff") format("woff"); font-weight: bold}html, body, #MessageContainer{font-family: 'Sky Text', Arial;margin: 0;padding: 0;box-sizing: border-box;filter: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr="#c9c7d1", endColorstLOGNULL NowTransReader::ReadIt() JJFileMT::Truncate(122991) r="#fefefe", GradientType=1);background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(left, #c9c7d1 0%, #e5e5ea 6%, #fefefe 20%, #fefefe 80%, #e5e5ea 94%, #c9c7d1 100%);background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(left, #c9c7d1 0%, #e5e5ea 6%, #fefefe 20%, #fefefe 80%, #e5e5ea 94%, #c9c7d1 100%);background-image: -o-linear-gradient(left, #c9c7d1 0%, #e5e5ea 6%, #fefefe 20%, #fefefe 80%, #e5e5ea 94%, #c9c7d1 100%);background-image: linear-gradient(to right, #c9c7d1 0%, #e5e5ea 6%, #fefefe 20%, #fefefe 80%, #e5e5ea 94%, #c9c7d1 100%);}.header-row{padding: 10px; -webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); -moz-box-shadow: 0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);box-shadow: 0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, .2);background-color: #fff;}<!--if[mso]>.footer-links table{float: left; width: auto !important;}<![end if]-->.footer-links table{float: left; width: auto !important;}.footer-links a:link, .footer-links a:visited, .footer-links a:active, .footer-links a:hover{font-size: 18px;} For e-mail programs such as Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail, where the Microsoft Viewer (IE) is used for viewing e-mails, the reloading of fonts can be prevented. At Eudora, I do not have this option, a suitable plugin for Eudora could provide a remedy, similar to an ad blocker where the code for reloading Web Open Font Format is removed. With the internal viewer of Eudora (HTML mails have problems with the reloading of pictures etc. with encrypted web server) there is no possibility to take over the proxy settings from the system (no use of HTTPSProxy possible), therefore the detour over the Microsoft Viewer (IE).
  4. The problem with Eudora has to do with the processing of css code (in this case, the e-mails from Sky), which almost brings Eudora to a standstill. This causes the HTTPSProxy to disconnect some connections again, which in turn leads to long load times, especially for Marks and Spencer (e-mail loads many resources). But to get the e-mails from Sky displayed correctly, I recommend Thunderbird (last running version under Windows XP 52.9.1). Although these long load times do not exist on Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail, they both work with the viewer through IE, so e-mails with up-to-date HTML code are no longer displayed correctly. The file "OriginalSource.htm" I downloaded from the forum and opened with Google Chrome without problems and correct representation. Because of the fuzzy font in Thunderbird (version 52.9.1). Under Tools > Settings > Advanced > Edit configuration, search for the entry gfx.content.azure.backends and change it from "direct2d1.1, skia, cairo" to "direct2d1.1, cairo" (remove skia).
  5. The latest version of ProxHTTPSProxyMII v1.5 (Rev3a) uses the latest Python script from http://www.prxbx.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2191. @Mathwiz At this point I had announced the updated version @TrevMUN I already sent you a PM on Thursday at 10:33 PM (01/31/2019).
  6. This message always occurs when there is a disconnection to the HTTPSProxy, for example when the browser is closed. This is not a mistake in this sense. The only mistake I saw was in the first line. Therefore, my question and try out, the line can also be deleted again if it does not lead to success. You can send me a larger excerpt via PM, where you have tried to open various e-mails and take longer.
  7. Have you ever tried to insert the entry *helpforum.sky.com* in [SSL Pass-Thru] in the config.ini of HTTPSProxy?
  8. Have new build generated by ProxHTTPSProxy v1.5 (Rev3a), with small changes script, various python modules updated, config.ini supplemented by some entries, CA certificates (cacert.pem) updated and alternativ cacert.pem from MSCerts (Cert_Updater) 11/28/2018. If anyone has interest please write a PM to me. Info: At Python 3.44 the support ends in March 2019. With the latest cryptography module version 2.5 (Jan 22, 2019) ProxHTTPSProxy does not work on Windows XP anymore. Last working version 2.4.2 (Nov 21, 2018).
  9. Have tested Youtube with Google Chrome 44.0.2403.130 and 49.0.2623.112. Also spoof version 69.0.3497.86 without problems.
  10. You can disable TCP/IP 6 in the network adapter. Incidentally, even with the current version of TeamViewer 14.1.9025.0 at least the TCP/IP 6 protocol must be installed. Otherwise you use an older version of Teamviewer or deactivate incoming LAN connections. Unfortunately, I can not offer you a better solution in relation to the current Teamviewer.
  11. Why should it be a mistake? All Windows versions released after Windows XP have TCP/IP 6 installed by default. Did you notice any other errors? What I've noticed is that from version 13 of Teamviewer on some features now a license is required. Otherwise, I have made a 1 hour test where no problems have occurred. Actually, we may be glad if there is only the problem with the TCP/IP 6 protocol in Windows XP if this is not installed (also does not have to be activated in the network adapter/s, only installed).
  12. By default, Incoming LAN connections are disabled under Options because this problem does not occur. I personally use TeamViewer temporarily and do not install it, just start it ("run only"). The test scenario in my VM has it installed.
  13. Only TCP/IP 6 protocol in wIndows XP Install and disable if not needed in the network adapter! Since I do not permanently install TeamViewer for my purposes, I have not had this problem yet. Hope that the problem with you is also solved.
  14. @Mcinwwl Have tested the versions 13.2.26558.0 and 14.1.3399.0, both worked for me. I do not use IP6.
  15. @Dave-H Download-Center Silverlight Version 5.1.50918.0 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=57768
  16. Security update KB3139398 (usbstor.sys / Windows USB mass storage class driver) was released on 03/07/2016. Apparently, no Windows USB mass storage device had been connected to your PC in the meantime, because this has happened meanwhile the driver "usbstor.sys" was installed and this reason was found at WU / MU update KB3139398.
  17. I also use Skype 7.38.0.101 (mod. installer variant without updater) with following entries in hosts file. As long as both sides still use this version still works to build a conversation and lead. 127.0.0.1 rad.msn.com ::1 rad.msn.com 127.0.0.1 live.rads.msn.com ::1 live.rads.msn.com 127.0.0.1 ads1.msn.com ::1 ads1.msn.com 127.0.0.1 static.2mdn.net ::1 static.2mdn.net 127.0.0.1 g.msn.com ::1 g.msn.com 127.0.0.1 a.ads2.msads.net ::1 a.ads2.msads.net 127.0.0.1 b.ads2.msads.net ::1 b.ads2.msads.net 127.0.0.1 ac3.msn.com ::1 ac3.msn.com 127.0.0.1 apps.skype.com ::1 apps.skype.com 127.0.0.1 download.skype.com ::1 download.skype.com
  18. @WinXP_OK Latest updates for POSReady regarding the message you get when starting Wordpad. You can verify that the version numbers of the files match those of the following updates (if necessary, manually install these updates again). KB4339291 (wordpad.exe, xpsp2res.dll Version 5.1.2600.7512) KB4466388 (kernel32.dll, ntdll.dll, ole32.dll, oleaut32.dll, rpcss.dll Version 5.1.2600.7594) KB4467689 (rpcrt4.dll Version 5.1.2600.7594) (xpsp4res.dll Version 5.1.2600.7589)
  19. @glnz My recommendation: Try to install behind the router a network switch (buffered 5 or 8 ports, as needed), where all devices are connected with LAN. This can solve many problems and the internal speed between the LAN devices is faster. In the case of a router, the LAN connections are controlled via the software and processor as well as the data transfer between the LAN connections. Have already had a case where an outdoor camera via LAN directly to a router did not work.
  20. Download and manually install the version for Windows XP from the following link. The update KB2686509 differs to the Windows Embedded version! http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB2686509 xp Note: When installing Windows XP first, the available and desired updates should be installed by WU / MU, only after that after several searches no more updates should be made to the POSReady key in the registry. Then the order and the correct update KB2686509 for Windows XP will be installed.
  21. @Dibya The inconvenience I do not have, but the users who use this RAM patch. In actual life we all have to carry our "packages". I wish you a speedy recovery in your health.
  22. @caliber The package you have tried is on the one hand outdated (kernel), on the other hand there was the update KB4463103 (kernel) with the POSReady updates where the ram patch would also need to be updated. I created an installer for this ram patch earlier this year, but if the project is not kept up-to-date, especially while there are still POSReady updates, there are problems like a BSOD. MS does not care about the RAM patch, so the author of this project would have to take care of the update. Note to the author of the project RAM Patch: In the future, I will not waste my time creating installers if you neglect your projects.
  23. @sal here Here is a helper where the entry in the registry changes (UPD_MMPC.bat) or back to the original entry (UPD_Default.bat). Download: here Password: n29TD$h"y9j5V23K6K§hb1%vA7vM9CrP&eU3BYzI4 Note: To unpack completely for execution Only of interest if no POSReady entry is used in the registry. The entry makes it possible (but only manually) to update the virus definition from the MSE interface.
  24. (Attention, it should only make users who are familiar with permissions!)
  25. Try to open a filter in the filter lists, the μBlock internal script "asset-viewer.js" will be executed. Here, the screen should not be left blank. Under Chromium 49 (Google Chrome 49), the script "asset-viewer.js" does not work anymore from μBlock 1.17.0.
