@ Ponch thanks, now i can pull it out and see if it is sata or pata, i run PC Wizard and it say that my hard disk is sata i attached the report plz check because i want to make sure which kind before i buy now one. @ Zanskas my hard looks like a sata one, about the size may be i will buy 500GB if it is available in the market. Hi........ My laptop hard disk is only 80GB and i would like to replace it with 320GB harddisk, but when i open my laptop back side i found a low paper plastic tap connected to the hard , what is the funcation of it? i attach some image of it. also it is a sata drive?

@puntoMX, @wcogy thanks i would like to try it but i am cheapskate i am afried to loss the 2GB ram which i will buy to try cause i think i have to install 2 X 1GB RIGHT? in the use guide they mention that my laptop ram is DDR2 533 MHz Memory upgradable to 2GB using 2 soDIMM modules (dual-channel support) but when i open my laptop and check the ram i found this 512 MB 2RX16 PC2-5300S-656-12-A3 [DDR2-666] and this what igot from cpuz and PC Wizerd 2008 so what type of ram should i buy? and it have to be 2x1GB ?

hi guys... i had bought old laptop Acer Extensa 5204NWLMi it come with 512MB ram only, so i would like to upgrade it to 2GB OR 4GB but the problem I dont know the maximum size for memoery upgrading it is 2 or 4 GB, i have 2 connectors here is the info of my laptop

Hi... thanks guys for mst files, Now, what about uptaes, when i make a sfx file for kaspersky updates (Bases Folder) by winrar and use this comment ;The comment below contains SFX script commands Path=%allusersprofile%\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP6 Silent=1 Overwrite=1 i get this error does any one get rid of this limitation.

there is no virus just a grat tool ur dad used to disable regedit here is an image of what u should do >> u will find run is disable so in order to run Group Policy u will find it here c:\windows\system32 >> THIS TOOL CALLED gpedit.msc i wish i colud help
