  1. And how do you use this? What extension?
  2. But where is the Windows 10 Start Menu? I would need that. The Windows 7 style Start Menu was always rather useless.
  3. I am waiting for next Aeroglass build compatible with RS1, but my desktop looks real good in my opinion!
  4. It is symbols files. Create blank text files, and rename them the exact name of symbols files, and you will not have that problem.
  5. That would be good. I don't like to have extra software installed. I really have tried out the Start is Back, and found it very confusing. It always wants to install a replacement start menu which I don't want. I have never really quite figured it out, and it adds stuff everywhere. It has been a while since I actually worked with it, but I couldn't check a box saying Do Not Install Replacement Start Menu. Look, I never used the Windows 7 style start menu when it was with Windows 7. I didn't know it but I used toolbars to create what was very similar to what we have now in Windows 10. I had nice groupings of commonly used programs just like I have now in 10. The only difference being is that there was no all programs attached. With 10 all the programs are arranged alphabetically all the time, and I can group commonly used programs. Some of them even have Active Tiles which is like totally awesome. So you see, I don't need the start is back, just the OldNewExplorer. No offense to anyone. Different strokes for different folks. I am just explaining how I feel.
  6. I have tried using SIB with just what I want, and nothing else, and it is a PITA. I really do not want it on my computer at all. Period.
  7. Personally I would prefer you keep ONE separate from SIB, as I use ONE, but would never use SIB. I absolutely adore the new Windows 10 Start Menu. So, if you choose to combine them, at least also let us install separately.
  8. People on the Insider Builds are there because they want to update as soon as they possibly can. They follow Dona's every post to see when the update arrives, and continually push the update button in settings when an update seems imminent. This is why they are Insiders.
  9. If you are on the insider program, you want the update ASAP. This is why you are on the insider program.
  10. Well there you go. The server failed. Wait for it to be up.
  11. It does not completely work. It is long overdue for an update. Does developer plan on any additional work for this project?
  12. I am running build 14361 as my main drive, on bare metal. When I decide it is better to clean install rather than upgrade, I run a batch file in a portable folder which installs every program I run. Some are portable, some are silent install, and some are not silent install. Keys I need are copied to the desktop. All my registry edits, registry ownerships, file ownerships, themes, and customizations are automatically taken care of. I integrate all my up-to-date drivers into the ISO before I clean install, and create a bootable USB drive using diskpart. So after the 15 minutes it takes for installation, I just right-click and run the batch file as administrator. Then I sit back and watch. When all is done, and my system has rebooted, I install Windows Media Center with a special theme, and the ability to mount DVD ISOs, and play MKVs. Then I clean out windows.old, and run a few registry cleanup programs, and I am done. I have a beautiful Windows 10 install, and it does not give me any trouble. It just works, original amazing start menu, and all. Cortana can shut my computer off, log out, restart, create restore points, put computer to sleep, and check restore points all by voice command. Life could not be better. Here is a shot of my beautiful Windows Explorer.
  13. I haven't found anything wrong with 14361 yet. I always use Windows 10 on bare metal as my main drive. That is the only way to really test it. I do make custom ISOs, and I do test those on Hyper-V, but I don't use VMs for any regular testing. So far as Aeroglass is concerned, I haven't used it in months. I really haven't missed it, but once rs1 is RTM, and if Bigmuscle adapts Aeroglass for it, and if there is a nice themeatlas, I will go into Task Scheduler, and re-enable it.
  14. You really know how to make a good day seem bad don't you!
  15. Probably not until after 29 July, when rs1 gets released to the general public.
  16. Yea it puts bits, and pieces of taskbar all over my desktop!
  17. Yea, I definitely think you should use another browser. I have had excellent results with Google's Chrome since its inception!
  18. Why are you on Windows 8? It is not supported anymore by Microsoft. Are you sure you do not mean Windows 8.1? Make sure you downloaded the correct version from here http://www.glass8.eu/download.html There are two versions, you want v1.3.
  19. This has been the case for the last few Redstone builds. Once the symbols download Aeroglass does not work. So, just remove the license key. I am sure that with the Anniversary build which will be released the end of July, we will have a nice Aeroglass from BigMuscle which works with the symbols. Meanwhile, just be happy it works without the license key.
  20. Yea, it does not work properly. I removed it from the registry. We must wait until consumer release of rs1 I am afraid for things to be resolved. There are simply too many changes right now. There is at least one release each week, and we can only wait.
  21. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/170233-aero-glass-themeatlas/?do=findComment&comment=1119203
  22. Does it happen with your DPI set at 100%?
  23. This themeatlas does not work in build 14279.
