Whats going on? AG install is triggering transparency of taskbar and uninstalling it is triggering return to opaque. Big muscle let me know that AG has nothing to do with taskbar transparency but this seems to show otherwise. Perhaps there is some other explanation. .... tnx

no lucks: whether i am on mains or on battery i cant get the taskbar opaque....

didnt used to do this dhj: ill try that and reinstall CS and let you know...

Whenever i used to go off the mains and onto battery, the taskbar (classic start on 8.1) and menus used to go opaque. i assume this meant that aeroglass was shut down for the sake of powersaving. Now, however, no matter how many transparency settings i turn off in classic start menu settings i can never turn off the main taskbar transparency!: either on AC or DC power. many thanks for any thoughts or insight on how to restore this functionality ....

ok: I see "When you deactivate wrong key, you can reactivate it back. But you will need to wait another 30 days if you want to deactivate it again and get a new key." now as far as I know I did not deactivate my key. if trying the same key on a new computer amounts to deactivation then I get it. correct? thus can you please direct me to the reactivation procedure? its not on the read first page... tnx again

Dear BM, Daveo, thanks but no luck: I have reinstalled the both 1.31 and 1.4 versions to c:\AeroGlass and copied my donation.key file there. I am getting the watermark and the nag screen. As I mentioned I am on a new laptop and want to bring over my key from my last. please advise. many thanks, Slipr
