  9. I'm wondering.. What timezone does this forum relate to? I'm in the GMT +1 timezone and I'm getting a bit confused about when people actually posts here..

  11. I don't really think this can help, but u could always try downloading a RAM test program. Dunno where u can find it. Try searching on Google.. Good luck anyways..
  12. Thnx, firefoxthebomb! It worked now.. I'm using Symantec Ghost 8.0.
  13. I'm trying to make a boot disk for a Brodcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit controller. To do this I need the NDIS2 driver for the ghost boot disk.. The problem is that the one I can find (B57.cab v7.64) wont work! I get the errors "Bad file name", "Can not load driver" and similar messages.. I've been looking for the 7.11 version of the driver but I can't find it.. Can anyone tell me where I can find it or what I can do to make it work? I've tried with different drivers also just to check if that could work.. It didn't..
  14. It just goes away when I click.. Can't click more than once and I'm sure the mouse is over the cross.. Oh, well.. Maybe it will be easier if I try it on a pc without touchpad..
  15. None of them at home. (10 at work) At home I use Winamp and vlc (VideoLAN)..
  16. I can't get the safe to show.. When I click on the "square" in that little movie nothing happens.. Am I doing something wrong??

  18. We've checked the RAM allready.. Twice with two different tests.. No errors.. But thanx anyway..
  19. Oh, I give up... Funny game, but I haven't got the patience to find out how I get out..
  20. Omfg.. I'm deleting some old s*** from a drive on one of the servers here where I work.. And that drive has got some serious problems.. I've gotten 4 different errormessages 'til now.. Mostly "Error performing inpage operation"- and "Error no access"- like errors. It's just so irritating! I have solved the problems already (with chkdsk), but I needed to share my irritation with someone..
  21. I'm guessing that it was caused by RAM problems.. I know it wasn't the cd or the power supply (checked both in another computer here) We gave it up anyways.. It was a really ooooooold pc..
  22. I use Firefox.. It's much handier than IE i feel..
  23. Poor guy.. Rofl
  24. I've used both Pro and Home on my homecomputer and I really am more pleased with Pro. Dunno why but my programs seem to crash less with Pro. I sould go with Pro, but thats just me..
  25. I've been working on this one computer now the last 5 days. This computer has a life of its one it seems. The reason we got it in was a bluescreen. (We never got to see it. Never appeared when it stood here at our office) This computer failed on different stages of the boot usually. We used a cd (Ultimate Bootdisk) to run some tests on the harddisk and memory, but no errors occured. So we reinstalled it. This worked out fine for a while. First it stopped during an virusprogram installation. It couldn't find the files. Tried again and it worked. Next it couldn't install Office. Once again it couldn't find the right files. The 3rd time of trying this worked as well. Windows update worked like a charm. Exept for the servicepack update to upgrade IE 5.x to 6.x.. During this the computer claimed it couldn't find the net eventhoug I know that couldn't be it. This morning when I started working on it again it wouldn't start. So we gave it up. Now I'm wondering, does anybody know what might cause these problems? We're thinking hardware malfunction but we're not shure. btw. We changed the hdd before installing the os again. This didn't help..
