Wow! That was cool! You're good..! I love both anime and Metallica, so this was just so perfect! Some of the other has mentioned it before, but it's a real shame it's not finished though.. Keep up the good work!

Have you tried scanning you're computer with spyware removers in addition to virus programs? With Spybot Search & Destroy or Ad-Aware for example.. You can also try to remove it with Stinger, a McAfee virus program which is quite good. But if you can't remove it, why not just reinstall you're pc?

The pc wasn't connected to our domain, so that wasn't the fault.. I still think it was a problem with the to partitions and that the error occored during the installation of Windows.. The pc works like a charm now, when I reinstalled it.. Thanx for the tips though.. I'll remember it if I encounter the same thing again! I don't use Roxio, so afraid I can't help you there..! Sorry..

My motherboard: KUNGUR (MS-6575 v 3.1) I have a Presario S4100NO running Windows XP Professional SP2. I've got a different graphics card and more RAM than it came with originally... It's not a really good pc, but it was what I could (and still can) afford... Does this help?

Right.. It's that to consider as well! I should have though of that.. Oh well! So this one might be better then? Western Digital 320GB, IDE, ATA/100, 8MB, 7200RPM

I need to buy another HDD (the one I've got haven't got enough space ) but I'm not sure what I can buy that will work togheter with my old one. My old one is a 40GB Seagate Barracuda Ultra ATA, 7200 rpm. Or just see here: http://www.seagate.com/cda/products/discsa...081,583,00.html Now, what I'm wondering is, will a Seagate 300GB, SATA, 8MB, 7200RPM work with my other hdd? (This is a Seagate too BTW) Or does a new hdd have to an Ultra ATA as well? I don't all that much about what hardware works with what, so I don't want to spend a bunch of cash on a hdd that I later discovere I can't use..

@rjz "I see ypu have sp2. Did you do that u[date your self. If yes pull it out do a reapair then put it back in." It's not my computer, so I don't know if the owner/user installed it himself.. I get the pc today (He needed it during the weekend) So I'll ask him @maverick09 Yeah, that might do it.. I'll give it a try if spyware searches doesn't do anything.. Thnx for the replies...

You're welcome.. BTW: The Deployment guide that you can find on the same site as the Step.by-Step guide, might be good to take a look on as well! There is some special things about migrating from SUS to WSUS in the end of it that might be wise to look through!

A friend of mine has a problem with IE on his computer. Everytime he starts IE it closes after about 7seconds... The only error message is the one that apears when you start a program, it fails and you are given the oportunity to send a report... (If that made any sence.. ) Now, I'm thinking ad- og spyware or a virus... Has anyone got any other suggestions to what might cause this? BTW, it's a Win XP with SP2 installed..

We installed WSUS yesterday on a server that ran SUS. We used the Step-by-Step guide that can be found on Microsofts pages: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversyst...es/default.mspx We just removed SUS and the installed WSUS.. Now the computers that earlier connected to SUS for updates have connected to the WSUS.. We will probably need to change the GPO settings, but the client computers has discovered the WSUS! Good luck..

Hi sumukh, I've read through it, and I don't think this would have helped anyways. In this text it's Norton ghost which is described and I'm using Symantec ghost 8.0. Symantec Ghost has a different prosedure after what I can tell, and I know it's not an error in the setup on the pc I take the image from. I've done this alot the last year, so that I'm sure of. After I reinstalled the pc, taking an image worked just fine, and I later discovered that the cd I used on that pc made other errors on other pcs, so I don't think it had anything to do with the Ghos program. But thanks anyway.. TiXer

Thnx for the tip, but it didn't work.. I decided to just reinstall the pc, and this time it worked..

I'm trying to take an image of a pc using Symantec Ghost 8.0. This pc has 2 partition; one with 4GB and one with 31GB. (Don't ask why) I've taken images of similar pcs before and this has worked like a charm, but now it stops everytime it's about to start on the second partition! The error is: "Read sector failure, result = 1, drive = 0, sectors 2061783 to 2961847." The last time I encountered this problem it was because the second partition wasn't formatted, but this time that can't be tha case. I'm 120% sure it's formatted. Any tips on what I can do?

I had the same problem with my Tiny Disk USB.. Dunno why it stopped working, but formatting as Shotgun suggests didn't work.. (It didn't find it) I used a software that came with the USB disk.. Don't remember what it was called, but that made it work again.. -
Ahhh.. So that's what it is.. Thnx for the explanation!
