See your Event Viewer application log and windows problem report sabout crashes in explorer.exe (if the time of error matches) and send me them.

1. Right-click Start menu - Properties - Switching - When I hold Windows key 2. That's true, it seems it may not work. I guess 1.0 will be refreshed, because bug is minor.

You have to enable it. Also, Windows key interception will not work in elevated applications.

It seems nobody does. Please verify it's SIB+ issue: uninstall it and start 8.1 again, wait a bit longer - coz i think it's your startup apps.

That's not supposed to happen. I suspect antivirus may influence this. Try using process monitor with path filter for other disk and process name for explorer.exe, then open start menu and check the log.

Not necessarily, but you must install StartIsBack 2.0 or above if you're using earlier version. Right click Start button - Properties - About - Activate.

Maybe security persmissions on SIB installation folder are wrong. Uninstall it and remove folder by yourself, then reinstall it.

StartIsBack Translation Tool is excellent, lot of translators used it.

Release is being hold by lack of some translations. If you can be a translator, please see this post or write me an email Languages missing: Czech, Slovak, Turkish, Croatian, Korean, Finnish, Dutch, Swedish, Chinese traditional. Please also report if right pane is not wide enough for your language.

PandaX, i still can't reproduce this. Are you using VM? Screen corners are known to behave differently under VM(Ware).

You can disable control panel searching this way: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "Start_SearchControlPanel"=dword:00000000 That won't be a setting though.

It shouldn't do so. Are you sure you're running 2.1.2? Are you using some sort of proxy?

You said it's also from charms. So it's unlikely SIB+ fault. Uninstall and test shutdown from charms and debug from there. SIB+ does not do shutdown on its own. Please explain what you do.

You wiped some important registry value / system file / environment variable. Try to reproduce it.

ender, so with that setting on Windows key opens nothing at all, right? PiV, i'll look it as soon as 8.1 gets language packs.

^^ Do you have standard taskbar on secondary monitor? 'Enable all edges on secondary monitors'? Any shell enhancement software?
