But it's already not hiding on secondary monitor when you working on primary in desktop. Which scenario you have in mind? If only it was easily possible. Underlying grid does not support vertical scrolling at all. It would be easier to reimplement start screen from scratch.

No, but new button can be improved. Yes, although multi-mon configuration need to be vastly improved. There will be optimizations for responsiveness, SIB does some things in UI thread which it shouldn't.

I'm afraid you ran into 'uninstall folder ACL issue' bug. To fix that, use tool like TakeOwnershipEx to allow access on files in folder where SIB is installed; or uninstall and install SIB into another folder. Yes it is, although SIB+ defaults to Plain8 skin and Windows 8 default button. If you specify 'Windows 7.msstyles' and 'win7_54.bmp' both SIB & SIB+ will use Windows 7 style and button.

Activation system improved Now, when you change your hardware or replace a PC, you won't have to call support - you can just reactivate a program with your license key and it will work. That is possible if 30 days after previous activation has passed; so if you happen to wreck a new PC you can run a program in a trial mode for those 30 days. There is a certain limitation on how many times this would work, but now you just can worry less. Effective immediately for all license holders. SIB prices are gonna change to $2.99 (1PC) / $4.99 (2PC) / $9.99 (5PC).

Install program for all users to not choke on UAC totally off. You can remove Start Apps folder with this policy.

That's definitely not caused by StartIsBack. Your whole system DPI changes. It could be driver or configuration issue. Search for 'dpi' in start menu, open dpi configuration window and, choose 'one scaling level for all displays' and set dpi back to 100%. DPI may change when your physical monitor reports it, so it must be related to driver / monitor configuration.

AH. That means you have a policy which forces boot / return to desktop (GoToDesktopOnSignIn). SIB has to respect policies.

Make sure both SIB Search options are on. Does program / setting search work correctly? Try running Search troubleshooter: C:\Windows\diagnostics\system\Search\DiagPackage.diagpkg

The problem with shutdown button on touch screen is that you can miss small options arrow, so I intended this as enhancement, not as a burden. What if I return shutdown on tap-and-hold?

This happens on touch screens only. Do you press shutdown button on touch screen?

They're not really file system paths. I could try to change this though. Can you please explain a scenario when they don't work.

Re-download that 'RC' again. I think I won't be able to fix taskbar jumping, Surround is just too stubborn.

Ehm, why taskbar is not on the bottom? Or it is three monitors vertically? Can you post full screenshot?
