i have an SLR camera, so for me to choose a digital camera on a low budger was really hard, i finally got Olympus c-300 (d-550 in US i think), and its pretty good, im quet happy about it, it really depends on the budget , Canon G2 or G3 are really good as far as i know welcome to MSFN

well, im not a virus specialis, but i believe it can reside on other HD as well, but since you didnt do the virus scan, i believe it would be highly reccomended

mmm, interesting problem indeed, especially since it persists on the previous working image how about virus scan? did you try that, you computer might be infected with some kind of virus, and im not sure that restoring image would help in that case. well, anyway, try that. another question just came in mind: you dont have a UPS connected by any chance?

win2003 is very good at my opinion, runs very smooth, faster than wunxp, has lots of server features as well(if you need any), as for games though, it runs all the games just the way winxp does, and i didnt hear about any problem with that, but you shouldnt expect the support for games in the future, after all this is server OS, definetly not intended for gaming. btw, dont forget to check out Windows Server 2003 to Workstation Guide.

i just searched asus site, and i believe that the board should support WOL, and i think you were right, you should search you bios, or maybe to check motherboard drivers that came with it.... i understood from the site that the boards support WOL, and they might have issues with it if you bios is not updated

nmmm, im not sure, i thing you should check on asus site, if they support this feature, and if they do, you will probably find instructions on how to do that, as far as i know not every net cards supports it, but i might be wrong

you should check on the network card manufacturer site, i think it might be different from one to other, i know intel supports it, you just need to install special drivers (like a card bios) in dos mode
