care to elaborate the purpose? like, do you want to be able to do something like such set lastgood=%systemroot%\lastgood so that you could then do %lastgood% and goto the above directory if this is the purpose, remember, when using dynamic values, like %systemroot, you can just use, a string, but rather an expanable string value. also changing reg keys, then exporting, and edit the .reg file to only have what you need, can make things easier, but remember to make a backup first, to restore to, b4 you restart the computer, if you think it might b0rk things.

there is a very easy way to use /3GB switch, without these errors as I have tested it. it simple, remove the ntkrnlpa.exe file ( when using less than 3GB ram off coarce is all I have tested) just using this switch can lower the amount of memory used, by many programs greatly and also fixes those errors, those might occur from using the pa krnl. also, this may also work for when using over 3GB of ram, but I am unable to test this obviously. those who have that amount of ram, may wish to test it. anyway, just my 2 cents edit ________________ wow sites been down a while anyway, let me point out, that these were commit change changes, havn't test, acutally ram usage.

not sure if this is a usa only thing, but at many places you can get an oem copy of windows xp home, with as little as a fan.

get oem no diff just dont get , upgrade. it blows. also, you need to like, buy a fan, then.

first post of the thread, has rls dates, public beta, isn't for a bit longer. since the high demand for beta testers. trust me, if you use nlite, using winlite is pointless. it costs money to use, (full ver of it) and isn't anywhere near nlite, imho, havn't used it much more than the demo though, and since I found nlite, have never looked back.

from my knowledge its legal its no different, from nlite or winlite the user, does all the editing via batch files, and such

if you would like to test implenting that, that would be great. currently, I am positive its been riped out. unless there are third party tools for active directory connectivity.

q106 preferably its all depends on how beta 2.5 testing goes dont plan on rushing anything either. user friendly-ness is a goal, which means lots of work on my part. along with, virus/spyware immunity and such and who knows, printer/fax/scanner/controller support. and maybe no firewall req'd

have, you use the cleartype tuning tool? its great, lets you change, bold/brightness of letters etc. scratch that, and my vote I agree with the above post my cleartype is actually off. my votes to no cleartype. even on my lcd.

other for me I think GDogg computers are the best they come overclocked, and use all the best hardware LOL

no firewall, thats taking a large risk. as RPC is a security risk too, maybe you stoped that service too. but you dont need to, I bet you've already stoped it from accessing a network in an form. so whats the memory usage like, in this command prompt style? have you done, a network scanner, thing your, xpge, to check for open ports?

There's really no facts in that, especially since you have little knowledge of what's going on with my project . just reading what you've said if there is no UI how would I install a software firewall? and if I could install it, how would I then config the firewall, since it would be in the systray? and, your getting defensive too much, command promt is dos, no matter how u look at it. oh and about being ineligalbe its cause yuor a speleling nzai lol
