  5. hi, VM-Session done: Errors came from DCOM, but i unregistered it - so it's normal all other errors were related to the system shutdown via shutdown.exe (eg. cannot start becaus system is shutting down...) there are NO errors in event viewer from installing any hotfix... hope this helps a bit cya Killer Bee

  8. hi, if you want all updates for WinXP SP1, with DX90b, but without MM2, WM9-codecs and WMP9 then go and look here. Everything installs fine and nothing shows up on WU. hope this helps a bit cya Killer Bee edit: ofcourse you are free to port it to svcpack.inf or a batch if you want...

  15. hi, apply DX9.0b(OEM-Version works in svcpack.inf) at first, then search the forum for the 832894-"copy the needed dll's workaround-file" and then 832894. I don't use a newer WMP and no MM2 so i can't help you there. hope this helps a bit cya Killer Bee PS: I'll attach a copy of my XPlode-XML which is run from svcpack.inf and installs all updates that'll work from svcpack.inf XPlode.xml

  25. hi, the wallpaper shown while GUI-Mode Setup is placed in winntbbu.dll. For the User-Wallpaper you can use the above reg-key or copy over your Wallpaper as bliss.bmp in %systemroot%\web\wallpaper hope this helps a bit cya Killer Bee
