WMP10 does not show up on Windows Update, but when You click "Check for updates" in WMP10 menues it says WMP10 is available for download as an update. (Install will fail cause you have already installed a newer version)

At the end of installation of K-lite mega codec pack, when you have NOT selected to install WMP classic it asks you if you want to asociate all filtypes to Windows Media Player. Can I asociate all files played with MPC to WMP10? I'm having trouble making a list of all the files from k-lite mega codec pack that I can play with WMP10.

Sorry! But I just cannot find out how to have WMP10 play real/quicktime files. I install K-lite mega codec pack...

Well this is interesting! I am installing K-lite mega codec pack, but have always been annoyed by the mediaplayer classic, if I could play the files in WMP10 this would be great!

I am experiencing something weird though after UA install. When i click "Check for updates" in WPM10, it says an update of 13 Meg is available. This update is the actual WMP10!! So it downloads the file and when it launches after download I get an error "a newer version of WMP10 is already installed". Like if windows thinks I have not installed WMP10?? (WMP10.no version x.3802)

I found this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...08-1fd6e7827cd8 but I have no idea weather i need this or more updates!? I if "look for updates" through update menu it says no updates are available. But I have never installed ANY wmp10 updates as i know of.

The manual way seems to have worked fine on Norwegian system. WMP10 runs fine. Anything i should look for to verify it all worked?
