  1. Well, I'd like to use it, cause then I dont have to get that annoying indowws update icon telling me im missing an update. (and yes I know I can disable that, but for future updates I'd like to keep it). The perfetc solution for me is if someone would be kind enough to post me the fix file It would be GREATLY appriciated!
  2. I'm using Norwegian XP, so I can't use your pack, but could you PLEASE provide me just the fix file?
  3. Oh crap, I don't want to phone them. Can anyone post this update? please.
  4. Security update KB885250 is causing problems browsing my local area network. I am not able to see all dirs on a \\localcomputer\c\mydocuments, just as if some files and dirs are hidden (although they are not). This problem has been posted before, and is solved by uninstalling this security update. However, im a bit annoyed with not having all updates installed, and would like to know the CAUSE of the LAN browsing problem, can I fix this problem although the update is installed? Anyone else have this installed and does NOT have the problem?
  5. Hmm I guess not, since those kind of regtweaks need a reboot? Am I right? (I mean I would then have to call a reg file that DISABLES and runs WPI and ENABLES in the same cmd file), If I can not maybe run the first to disable at T-12 at cmdlines.txt and the secound at the end of WPI.cmd where cleanup and reboot happens? One problem that will occure using the method above is that at T-12 (cmdlines.txt) the reg tweak will disable screensaver for ALL users, but at cleanup in WPI.cmd it will only be able to enable screensaver for the current user.
  6. Is there a way to disable screensaver ONLY during unattend install (WPI), and then have it as default enabled after (the first reboot) installation is done?
  7. Is it possible to comment out stuff in winnt.sif?
  8. When is the appropriate time to run regtweaks? cmdlines.txt or guirunonce?
  9. What exactly does HKCU tweak mean? Is it recommended to run ALL my reg tweaks at cmdlines.txt or just (QuickLaunch and) this one for sound scheme?
  10. I am currently disabling the (to me) annoying windows startup and shutdown -melody from a regtweak ran as the first item at WPI. However this does obviously not disable the VERY FIRST startup sound as that reg has not yet ben applied. My question is: will it work to apply this tweak (to disable startup and shutdown sound) at cmdlines.txt? (This doing so the sound is NEVER played) The regtweaks: ;NO Windows shutdown sound [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default\SystemExit\.Current] @="" ;NO Windows startup sound [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default\SystemStart\.Current] @=""
  11. I am during my unattend installation installing the Energy Bliss visualisation for WMP10. But this does not apply as the current visualisation after install. Is there a way to set (in registry or whatever) what the current WMP10 visualisation should be? (So that on first boot after unattend installation the Energy Bliss visualisation is not just installed, but also selected as the current visualisation?)
  12. Yes indeed that is wha I would like I have tried regshot but I could not find anything of interest when i changed vis. (A bit to my suprise).
  13. Yes I did Thank you very much It was actually a newer version than what i had. I have now integrated version 10.00.00.3802 to my i386 dir. Don't know whats new in this build, but at least it's new
  14. Ok, thanks ill check it then! Please excuse my burp. An awefull habit of mine.
  15. God! Did you search at all!? Okey I'm going to break it down for you... It's on page three of this forum! WMP10 Slipstreamer Version 1.1 . Now download windows media player 10 installer (mp10setup.exe) in your language (or whatever language you are using), and run that batch file. It will guide you through how to integrate Media Player 10 to your i386 dir. This is the best solution, as it is the fastest and it works perfect by replacing your CDs Windows Media Player 9.
  16. I don't quite follow. what will this do? Is this where my current wmp10 settings are stored (found at my current wmp10 dir with settings ok)? I want only the (installed Energy bliss) vis to be set.
  17. Ah I get it. Thank you! Im a bit annoyed by the fact that the method i am currently using (see above) auto logs on forever. I do not get the welcome screen where I can click a name to logon. If I removed autologon.reg from my usercreate.cmd and add the [GuiUnattended] AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=2 OEMSkipRegional=1 to winnt.sif, would this make my UA cd autologon the 2 times it needs while installing, and from there ask me to click logon? Would it then list my real username since I still make this from the command file above?
