It's pretty strange, cause I just downloaded WPI.4.3.8 and tested, by double-click running WPI.HTA, and not even that autoplays. That is without modifying ANY files from the unpacked rar archive.
I can't seem to get my audio tracks to start playing when WPI starts. Any idea? I'm guessing your not supposed to have to click the play button. WPI 4.3.8.

moglenstar: One thing though, could you remove the black pixels in the corners of the small animated green boxes (lower right corner), think those would look best with only a white frame. Other than that, perfect job....
What exactly is happening when you add a custom theme in winnt.sif as follows? (What registry values are altered etc.) [Shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile="%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Royale.theme" DefaultStartPanelOff = No DefaultThemesOff = No
Long time since anything happend in this topic.... However I use the royale theme and apply it through [shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile in winnt.sif, but ofcourse that does not apply and make the RunOnceEx window after WPI to appear with the royale theme. Do I need to alter this CustomDefaultThemeFile entry when I use this regfile? I'm guessing it is not needed as the .reg file applies the theme??? Please reply. Thank you.
At the RunOnceEx Window after WPI the list names can only have a certain number of characters before the line appears "too long" when the line goes bold. Anyone know what the max number of characters are for the line not to appear "too long" even when bolded? (selected is beeing installed) Or is there any way to resize the window?
MohamedYousri: There would be no swtich to remove that update screen you are getting. However you might want to try AutoIt to automate and update or close the window when it appears, automaticly. BB
Do you mind explaining how to add my own custom settings with apatch? I tried to install with the original msi file using /qn switch and then SFX extract the messenger .exe after installation (.exe copied from prev. install with apatch). Used this method for MSN messenger 7.5 but didnt work. Any idea?
On the recovery disk or acer download area there are two drivers from O2 micro that seems to be the same thing, any idea which is the one I need, or do i need both? Seems I'm double installing something here...
Exactly what files should be copied? I take it it's the content of the "XP" folder, but the XP folder has a subfolder called SP, there are .inf and .cat files in both XP and XP\SP.
russ9898: That is one way to do it yea: Only you need to include one line at the top, copy paste the following to notepad and save as .reg. launch silently with regedit /s filename.reg. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update] "AUOptions"=dword:00000004
