No, but I use Mypal 68 in single-process mode. In multiprocess mode, your chance to get a BSOD is much better.

I can't confirm that. 360Chrome 13.5 doesn't run smoother than Mypal 68 on my system. And I never had any BSOD while using Mypal 68.

uBlock Origin works perfectly in Mypal 68. The last compatible version is uBlock Origin 1.46. I use this version in my installation without any problems. All more recent versions need FF 78+. I already wrote about this extension here:

Thanks for the link! I already knew this source for userscripts. But where did you find a link to Tab Mix Plus on this site? I can't see any there. AFAIK, there is just this pre-release of Tab Mix Plus in form of a webextension: Tab Mix Plus v1.0.0-pre, available on their homepage https://tabmixplus.org/, but unfortunately only for FF 78+. For Mypal 68, there is only this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus-webextension/ called Tab Mix - Links, but it has very few features. Cheers, AstroSkipper

My German language pack for New Moon 28 - Fixed - Part 1 For New Moon 28, I use the German language pack from here: https://github.com/JustOff/pale-moon-localization/releases/download/28.10.0_RC1/de.xpi which I modified and corrected myself a long time ago in terms of the dev tools. Here is a screenshot of the Web Developer menu (Web-Entwickler) of New Moon 28.10.6a1 (32-bit) (2023-01-19) with my fixed German language pack already installed: My modified language pack is fully working, and all has been translated. If you are German like me, or German is your native language, you are lucky and can use my already modified language pack file de-mod-content-dev.xpi. Here is the link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/99riihhfrxrju2k/de-mod-content-dev.xpi/file Cheers, AstroSkipper

You can read a lot somewhere, and rumors are ten a penny. AFAIAA, @feodor2 posted the link to the nightly build himself (under his GitHub account). Anyway! I hope he is well and unharmed. Best wishes from here!

I tested this nightly build of Mypal 68.13.0 with some websites which caused problems in Mypal 68.12.5b. The assets on GitHub are loading again. MEGA is working, too. And, the online dictionary LEO also seems to be fixed. Unfortunately, VirusTotal stopped working completely in Mypal 68.13.0b. Neither the main site https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload nor the reduced site https://www.virustotal.com/old-browsers/?style=bright works. On the main site, no way to upload a file. All elements in the middle of the website aren't loaded, only the outer frame. On the reduced site, the Google captcha doesn't work (endless loading).

My Browser Builds (Part 4)
AstroSkipper replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I wrote about email clients in this thread: https://msfn.org/board/topic/184410-xpvista-compatible-clients-for-modern-email-services/?do=findComment&comment=1238445 . I tested IceDove and MailNews. The main diffrence I noticed is MailNews supports Oauth2, IceDove unfortunately not. Oauth2 is an important protocol for authentication. A lot of email service providers use it nowadays as for example Gmail. MailNews is simply great and works with all my email service providers. It can easily enhanced by installing legacy extensions. At least, that's what I did. -
Why unfortunately? A zip file is great, better than an installer. You have just to copy the new files over the old ones. That's why I simply wrote installer. With this archive, you install Mypal 68.13.0b. By the way, Mypal 68 is not fully portable. The browser creates entries in the registry. Therefore, to be absolutely correct, it's a zip archive for manual installation.

Good News! @feodor2 has just released a nightly build of Mypal 68.13.0. It's not beta or final, presumably less stable, but is supposed to have a much more up-to-date JS engine. Here is a link to the issue on GitHub: https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/issues/160 and the direct download link of the release: https://mega.nz/file/FfhCVaZJ#7Yt5Ai8lAz-KeGXBiNnfFcS61-5YVdztKxlPYdq7ZZg I am so glad to see progress in development of Mypal 68 despite the difficult circumstances. And then, an official release will come soon, presumably. Cheers, AstroSkipper

Since I don't know whether the guys (and girls?) from WiseVector have finally given up on their WiseVector StopX program or not, I have first completely deactivated it in my system, i.e. deactivated autostart of the program and its system service. Perhaps, they will reconsider their decision. After a deep research, I decided to give Panda Dome 22.00.00 a chance. This version is the most recent and fully compatible with Windows XP. Here are two screenshots of Panda Dome: So far, I am quite enthusiastic. The system load of Panda Dome is very low (lower than it was with WiseVector StopX), and the detection rate is supposed to be very good according to my research. I will keep you updated. Cheers, AstroSkipper

You're right! It was Serpent 55 - D'oh! Yes, the screenshot was taken from my Serpent 55. My main browser is New Moon 28. If a website doesn't load properly there, I try Serpent 55 at next. These browsers can be customized exactly to the user's need. One reason why I love them and continue to use them. Only if both fail, I give 360Chrome a try.

Root Certificates and Revoked Certificates for Windows XP
AstroSkipper replied to heinoganda's topic in Windows XP
I have never used that code to clean up the CryptnetUrlCache in the form of a batch file. I am not a fan of automatical solutions to delete files. I usually do manual cleaning in terms of the CryptnetUrlCache when necessary, i.e., if there are correspondent errors in the event log. -
Root Certificates and Revoked Certificates for Windows XP
AstroSkipper replied to heinoganda's topic in Windows XP
If you mean the batch commands for downloading the root and revoked certificates, then I have to say they work as usual. I could download them a few minutes ago, and they are from 29.11.2022. No new updates since then. -
My Browser Builds (Part 4)
AstroSkipper replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
There is a working method to disable the signature check for add-ons to allow installation of unsigned or modified add-ons in Mypal 68 and of course other Firefox versions as for example FF 78. I implemented that in my installation months ago. Therefore, I am able to modify existing add-ons without any (re)signing. That was one of the reasons I could install the actually legacy add-on Custom Buttons in Mypal 68: In the screenshot of the just linked post, you can notice that there is no warning after installing the legacy, unsigned add-on Custom Buttons in Mypal 68. And by the way, disabling the signature check for add-ons to allow installation of unsigned or modified add-ons in Firefox/Mypal versions makes it possible to edit old abandoned or no longer fully functioning extensions and bring them back to life. Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper -
Didn't you say it was a content security policy (CSP) issue? What now? Anyway! There are different situations I have to disable CSP. Ok! It's just best to check things out for yourself. It is definitely no Content Security Policy (CSP) issue. The website https://www.skyrc.com/Charger/t1000 works with CSP enabled in Serpent 55, too.

WiseVector StopX has stopped updating (streaming and program updates) and seems to be abandoned as a personal version (for free). Here is the link to a post from WiseVector in the thread "WiseVector Free AI Driven Security" on MalwareTips: https://malwaretips.com/threads/wisevector-free-ai-driven-security.87965/post-1024875 I think that's it for WiseVector StopX. Anyway! A bit hope is still there, and we all know hope dies last.

My Browser Builds (Part 4)
AstroSkipper replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
The second is true : Ok, just to clarify what I actually meant. I assumed @roytam1 updated the link in the form of a redirect, of course by reporting to eclipse.cx. He is logically (at least with probability bordering on certainty) not the owner of eclipse.cx and not able to establish such a redirect. -
XP/Vista-compatible clients for modern email services?
AstroSkipper replied to Mathwiz's topic in Windows XP
The last XP-compatible version 7.2.35595.0 of eM Client Pro is much too old. It does not do anything. No access to my email service providers. This version is nearly four years old and that's definitely too much for an email client nowadays. Anyway! MailNews is my best choice on Windows XP and works perfectly with all of my email service providers. The browser's web interfaces of my email accounts are heavy on loading and sluggish, and a lot of them work only in a restricted mode. -

I assume, @roytam1 updated the link in the form of a redirect, presumably to avoid having to manually change all existing links. This is an update, anyways. -

@roytam1! In your first post of this thread, you referenced to your support thread on the eclipse forum. The provided link https://forum.eclipse.cx/viewforum.php?f=33 doesn't work, as this internet address doesn't exist anymore. After a bit research, I found your support thread under the new address https://board.eclipse.cx/viewforum.php?f=33. If I am right, this link needs an update.
