  3. well yes this is a real forum, but you should make your own thread in the Software Hangout forum because this thread is about Software and Hardware support contact info, which makes your post off-topic. Thanks.
  4. That's a known issue with Windows Explorer, and a registry tweak can circumvent this. When you click on the file once (just when you're about to drag it) Windows Explorer locks on it for some reason (for preview info of some sort). I don't know the registry tweak for it, but I'll keep an eye out.
  5. Moved from General Discussion
  6. Yep, transfers from one hard drive to another will have improved in speed. The fastest hard drive runs at the same speed as the slower hard drive when its on the same IDE cable, so seperating them is a good idea. You'll also be able to copy CDs on the fly when both of your CD-ROMS are on seperate cable. Just make sure your CD-RW is using the Master cable, and switched as Master. Not exactly sure. I've always done a clean install when I change something major inside my PC, such as installing a new hard drive. You should be able to change the drive letters via Computer Management > Drive Management however.
  7. well, its narrowband 56k, (10 times slower than 512k ADSL) at a 5-6KB/sec download rate...

  25. A program that's able to connect to AIM, ICQ, Yahoo! and MSN all from one client, saves having seperate instant messenger clients open that could otherwise use up all your RAM. http://www.trillian.cc
