  1. From the Microsoft Virtual PC FAQ: Q. What will Microsoft charge for Microsoft Virtual PC 2004? A. The Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 application will be comparably priced to the Connectix Virtual PC for Windows product. Details will be announced at a time closer to the release of Microsoft Virtual PC 2004. Please note that the Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 application will be sold on a stand-alone basis, and that licenses for the guest operating systems need to be acquired separately. Another alternative is VMWare. What's HyperOS btw?
  2. yeah looks like it, a batch file called from the INF, then an app that will hide the command prompt window.
  3. If you legally own the software then why are you using a patch to disable Activation? If you are having issues with activation then I'd suggest calling Microsoft's Support Line for assistance on why your key is being refused.

  5. Found it in /all users/application data/hagel technologies
  6. There is also Symantec's AI Snapshot (included in Ghost) that takes a snapshot of the registry and disk before and after an installation. It creates an exe to make the necessary changes as shown in the snapshots. The exe install is silent by default.

  24. Its very difficult to remove hard-codened applications such as WMP8 and IE6 from WindowsXP. LitePC is the only company who claims they can do it. They were a sucess with Windows98, but Windows2000 and XP has proven to be very difficult to do, but they're getting there!
