  1. If you have a spare low-spec box lying around, you can run a small NAT and DHCP distro such as IPCop, and run your internet connection through it. It's pretty solid.
  2. Windows XP Setup asking to insert the CD-ROM into the A: drive
  3. You haven't posted your full winnt.sif file, so make sure you have this: [userData] ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
  4. You should shut down your OS properly before switching it off at the mains. If you don't then it can be bad news for your hard disk.
  5. I've never heard of this problem with RunOnceEx in Windows 2000, as some users with Windows 2000 using RunOnceEx haven't said different. It may be the DX9NTopk.exe, it was made for Windows XP.
  6. Albert Einstein!
  7. Let me guess... something to do with SETI?
  8. I would leave them well alone unless you know what you're doing.
  9. Didn't spot that, thanks eirogge!
  10. Yeah can't get in either.
  11. Where have you been big_gie? It's been around for a while! Mine came this morning, its quite good but not something I will use these days.

  15. Show us the batch files executed from [GuiRunOnce] in CODE tags
  16. What are you talking about?
  17. The favicons problem has been present in IE5/6 for a couple of years on all flavours of the Windows OS. Microsoft have yet to fix it :/
  18. Moved to Software Hangout
  19. Run it in a Virtual PC, its the best way to test and check for errors. Please use a more detailed topic title in future. Thread moved
  20. Yes, when you create the Network Boot Disk, choose the multicard template at the top of the drivers list. Although I should mention this didn't work very well for me, so I created seperate boot disks for 5 brands of NICs I have, then placed them all on CD as bootable IMA files controlled by CDShell.
  21. I think the screen filter is for those who are prone to headaches from looking at the screen for a long period of time.
  22. OemPnpDriversPath will still need a full path straight to those ATI and NVIDIA folders as Windows XP Setup will not scan any sub folders.
  23. Please speak english. This is an english forum.
  24. For unattended installations explained on the main site REG ADD allows environment variables to be used for RunOnceEx, whereas a reg file has to use a fixed drive letter. Stick to reg files for registry tweaks, and REG ADD for resolving an environment variable to a fixed drive letter to the registry.
  25. Yes you can, although if you have 2 CD-ROM drives carrying a CD with autorun.inf you will run into problems.
