Disabling the welcome screen would do that, but if you want to leave the Welcome Screen enabled... then I don't have a solution.

Check the permissions of the folders, and edit as according to the permissions access of your user account. Then try out the steps as MSNwar described above.

Go into safe mode, place those folders elsewhere for now, and go back into normal mode for a couple of days. If nothing's wrong, then those folders should be safe to delete

it was 30 degrees celsius today, and boy, it gets really hot in the evenings inside.

Nice idea Crispy There's also an app that logs your keystrokes to an internet server, in the event that a thief goes online and types out words that could point to where he lives, names etc. So you can check online to see what's been typed from your stolen PC/Laptop. Make sure the document is closed before trying to attach/send a file. Most file transfer problems occur due to MS Office documents being open.
