yes that works. In fact that also works with DVDFab Decrypter and ShrinkTo5. ive noticed with most small programs the have an installer just to assist in creating shortcuts and adding themselves to add/remove programs.

another option i came across recently is a GUI shell for the popular mplayer, called MPUI. I have a link to it in my sig. MPUI is stand-alone and makes no changes to the registry. I compared it with MPC/FFDshow and found the quality identical but MPC used on average about half the cpu thanks to ffdshow. Also MPUI could not handle Quicktime and Real videos, while MPC with the respective alternative packs could. However for people looking for an alternative to VLC, check out MPUI.

i want a video card powerful enough to play all the current games, that makes little or no noise, and stays cool. it doesnt need to score 15,000 on 3dmark05 for me.

thanks prathapml for the rc2 confirmation. I stopped using thunderbird because it would gradually bloat my mailbox. 15 text messages would grow to over 200mb of garbage files eventually in my profile folder. never understood what was causing that.

this is a very cool app. However not everything works in the sandbox. One nice thing is it doesnt seem to have any effect on the apps speed.

Well Ive tried a few and Neoshooter is still my favorite. Its only 500kb and has alot of features. Although you must install it once to extract the files, they can be carried to and from pcs and work fine. Ive uploaded just the exe so you dont need to install anything to use it. some of us never use it or we use an alternative like ATI Tray Tools. But just disabling it would be fine.

is it possible to disable the control center from installing? or maybe move the control center to a Graphics C DriverPack? Or make a driverpack with just the Display Drivers only?
