Has anyone else noticed that when companies run out of new ideas, they just make their new product 'shiner' and possibly add a small feature and yet people have to quickly run out and buy it because it's 'new'? Do I need Windows 8? Absolutely not. Windows 2000, with the help of blackwingcat and tomasz86, still serves my computing needs perfectly. The one that truly gets me is the fact that they removed the start menu and in it's place, they put a stupid full screen menu. Can anyone say....home screen? It's trying to look like a cell phone which I despise to begin with. They could leave Windows looking like Windows 98 for all I care, just as long as it was useful, stable, and did what you needed to do.
