I think the issue has to do with your internet connection's upload speed. You're probably lagging because your can't upload yourself to your teammates fast enough, hence the latency.

Corsair PSUs are OEMed by Seasonic.

I suppose you're right. Maybe the mouse is just plain old defective.

Pretty much what he said. We need a lot more information if you would like help finding the right drivers. Otherwise it's like "I have a Ford, what's the part number for my exhaust manifold?".

You need to give read permissions to the ASPNET user for the C:\Inetpub\vhosts\maxval-ip.com\subdomains\test\ folder

I'm still convinced that the problem lays in adjusting the acceleration setting.

Update your chipset drivers and update your iPod's firmware. Should help.

There's a very simple thing you can try which will show you the difference between IDE and SATA and how SATA is yards better then IDE. Put a hard drive as the primary master on an IDE cable then an 18x capable DVD+/-RW drive as the primary slave on the same cable. Now try to burn a full 4.7GB DVD-R at 18X from the hard drive. Chances are you'll end up with buffer underruns, maybe even a coaster. Or try putting two IDE hard drives on the same IDE cable and copy a large multi-GB file between the two hard drives and see how long it takes. Do the same with SATA hardware and you'll have none of those issues.

That will only hide the drive. You can still work your way around it.

That's simply un-true. I run stock XP, up to date using Windows Update. I have no antivirus, no firewall and ALL ports are forwared AND open to my computer. I don't catch viruses, nor am I a victim of security exploits. And to prove just how little I am worried, I run an FTP server, unfiltered, unfirewalled on my computer. Every single day, for hours on end, people attempt to hack into it. I have thousands of lines of hack attempts per day. This has been going on for a few years. Still, not a single person has ever managed to break into my FTP. Why? Because I use a 16 character random alphanumeric string as the password for my user. Using sensibility while connected to the internet is what it's about. -
Seasonic 500W modular power supply. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817151029 As for changing in that case, I'm thinking with patience...

Judging by your light requirements and your tight budget, it's probably best for you to buy a used computer instead.

Why are you fighting with an ISA sound card when you can pick up a PCI sound card for pennies?

My goal is not to insult you. My goal is to make a point. The point is simple. If you're going to make a claim back it up with fact because if you don't I'm going to bring fact to show you how you're wrong. I don't counter-post people's post when they're right or they state an opinion. But if you're going to make statements that people are going to refer to for information, and the information is wrong, of course I'm going to post to disprove this misinformation. Some people like AMD, others like Intel. That is preference. Saying AMD makes bad processors (just because I like Intel ones) is making a false statement, it simply isn't true. The same applies to Antec power supplies. They are no longer the holy grail in power supplies, especially the NeoHE series which has been reknown for it's problems. If you're going to say they're good, which can be proven wrong, of course I'm going to make it a point to illustrate that point. My goal on MSFN as a long time member is to educate members, help them understand topics and assist them in making diagnostics and decisions. I wouldn't be very useful to the MSFN community if I spread misinformation.

Unless he has a variable DPI mouse, the DPI is not the issue. As in most things, it probably simply requires proper configuration.

A motherboard which will not POST does not have the video card as an issue. Motherboards which do not POST will usually have their problems revolving around four primary areas. Power, Motherboard, CPU and RAM. If the CPU fan is turning when you try to start the computer and there is still no POST, chances are the problem is with your RAM. Try removing your stick of RAM and gently clean the pins of the stick of RAM using a white eraser. Then re-seat the RAM and try again. If that doesn't work, try using a different stick of RAM. If you still don't POST, try using a different power supply. It's possible that your motherboard may simply be dead, check it for leaked capacitors.

You obviously didn't read his question properly. I quote, "The problem is that eventhough i have the tracking speed set to the max, i still have to skip accross my monitor.".

Antec's quality has gone downhill. They used to have good power supplies. Unfortunately, things change. How many hours do you spend reading up on power supplies? Do you review comparisons made using full load testers? Do you verify voltage ripple results? What about active power factor correction? What about efficiency? What about RMAs? How many power supplies do you send for RMA in a year? How many have you installed? Do you know what the ATX specifications are for power supplies? Do you know which power supply manufacturers OEM to other brand names? The only thing you've mentioned is that because "your friends" don't have any problems with it, it must be good. Considering NewEgg lists 36% of it's buyers have serious issues with the NeoHE, 56% of voters on SPCR have problems with it and considering a quick google search will yield 73,900 hits for NeoHE problems, I think you don't have a leg to stand on. Antec moved to Fuhjyyu capacitors and considerably obliterated their power supply's lifespans. And by the way, Antec is not a manufacturer of power supplies, it's just a brand name. Antec power supplies are manufactured by Channel Well Technology primarily, some are also OEMed by Seasonic.
-
That's a horrid PSU. Not only has Antec, the company, been having issues, the NeoHE is the most problem prone line of their entire PSU lineup. 36% of 207 buyers on NewEgg did not like, or had problems with, the one you recommended. How is that a good PSU? For $20 more you can get a Seasonic 550W ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817151027 ) with 88% of buyers rating it 5 out 5. Why save $20 for problems?

And how do you expect to navigate a 1680x1050 screen without using mouse acceleration? As for the Logitech drivers, it's to be expected that you're not going to like how your mouse feels if you don't tweak your settings after you install the drivers. I have the MX510 and have no qualms with Logitech's drivers.

Keeping windows up to date will also help. -
Yea, I was going on about his quote "2) offer some DDR RAM [184pin, 2.5v] at a low cost or just a small amount to get by". Depends what you want to do with your system? What OS do you want to run? What software? What kind of usage? Then we can help you choose hardware.
