  1. You may want to accept comments better next time. It was not my intention to attack you in any way. I just gave my opinion. It is ok that you dont like XPize logon, but I dont feel hurt for that, it just helps me to improve my work next time. Hope you understand what I mean. And yes, you used my nLite logo: I would like people to ask me first before using it, so I can see the results and even help (I also can provide big size nLite logos if the work worths it). XPero

    Xpize 3.0 Released

Regarding switches: By now, XPize 3.0 doesn't support the /NORESTORE switch. *Maybe* it will be implemented in next version. Components selection switches are not supported and difficult to implement. I can't promise anything for next version Regarding WinRAR: In theory, the WinRAR patch is applied wherever you have installed WinRAR, cuz the installer looks for the value in the registry. Anyway, it is safer to have it installed in C:\Program files @bonedaddy and @Aegis I have taken note on that, I will try to find what is wrong. Thanks for reporting and for comments XPero
  5. I can't see your logon EDIT: ok, now I see it....not very good, sorry

    Xpize 3.0 Released

@clavicle: Do you have WinRAR installed in C:\Program files? maybe thats the problem. @Nanaki: Sorry, I forgot to give info about the clock. The clock is automatically installed for English and German systems by now. If you want the clock, just select "Enlgish" when the installation prompts to select language. @radiognome: hmmm, it doesnt sounds well, I cant tell you an exact solution for this. I've taken note of it, hope this can be solved in next revision.

  13. If this "MS Linux" project becomes a reality, will you use it?
  14. WinRAR interface is already done and tested No further changes were made from that of the screenshot.
  15. @angadsingh007: Totally agree
  16. I second and third that.. :-D. i have a question though, version 2.5 has an update facility, does that just update the icons in the file or does it replace the file itself, say after a critical update from MS, i ask for reasons of security, no point replacing new files with older version... THe Updater injects again all resources to the file and adds the new file size value in the registry. That way you are protected by Windows File Protection and Windows Update will recognize what hotfixes has been applied, keeping of course the XPize taste
  17. Thanks thomasd
  18. Well, I did my best on that clock...it is difficult to edit...just try and tell me

  22. Man! are you joking? Even a complete id*** can use nLite. Nuhi made a great effort so we can customize Windows installation with ease. Read the begginers guide in nLite's thread. Then post again if you had problems.
  23. Thanks all for your comments
  24. Probably next week. The i386 patching feature has to be developed
