Thats not a problem. XPize injects resources, it does not replace actual files. XPize must be the LAST "hotfix" you should integrate via nLite.

@lucanasci: eMule uses its own AVI animations which, of course, are not XPized. In alpha builds of XPize 4 emule was included, but there are many mods out there and it would probably cause many issues. I definitely will not include it in this version.

XPize doesnt play with sys files.BTW I think these kind of issues are due to my ambition on going far with XPize, I mean, XPizing XP the more I can.

Do oyu know what does Daemon Tools exactly? I mean, does it replace any Windows file, or it just install a virtual drive? What Windows files does Daemon Tools require to install? I think thats th key.

This method is universal, except for RyanVM packs, but you can use the Lite version of it, or integrate all the hotfixes manually through nLite.

I think I can finish it at the end of this week + I need some internal beta testing and finishing touches. Let's say next week or the next one, but date can be delayed. I'm really busy.

Navigating through folders and extracting info from files in real time to display their properties as you browse them will not be a GPU task Vista shows many details about your files (even an stupid star rank system), so I pressume it will slow down the normal use of the computer in same hardware.

Slower for sure iin same machine. In Vista, we will have big icons, more detailed info abou items, etc..it will slow the computer for sure.
