You just installed the theme that cames with XPize. To switch back to your previous style (or whatever you want), just double-click on the desktop and select "properties". Then in "appearance" choose your favourite style.

I didn't forget this issue. The thing is that if I set the php icon to replace the one Dreamweaver sets, those not using Dreamweaver will not have the custom php icon. An alternative would be to set up reg entries for both, but I don't like the idea of setting useless registry settings. Anyway, I will come up with a solution to this, whatever it be. Oh, and be sure that when this get fixed, it will be stated as so in the changelog

Why not converting this app into an alternative to Microsoft Update? Just my thought

Mods only change bitmaps images (wizard images). I dont include visual styles for permission issues. Oh and we dont care about how you got your Windows

There's only one way to slipstream XPize into a source (according to its documentation) and HFSLIP is using that. If there are other ways, you should ask the author (XPero) for more info because they aren't publicly known. thanks! The bootscreen is only installed with silent install using the /S switch. When integrated (no confuse this with silent install), XPize patches files, but does not install extras such as the boot screen.

Reasons: 1) I have basic C++ programming skills, so I am not able to develop this in C++. 2) Why coding for weeks when you can do it in a couple of days? 3) Programming in .NET is fun

I'm rewriting eXPander and have added some of your requests. It has now a smaller GUI and I added the splitted screen for expand and makecab + modifyPE. Have a look: For now, I just want eXPander to be only GUI for expand and makecab (no 7zip for example). Having said this, what features would you like to see in it? My thoughts so far: - Shell integration (optional). - Disable visual effects (optional). - Create and decompress cabs (I still have to figure out a nice way to implement this).

I made some research and I think it can be done adding a splash screen while XPize installs. I dont know if that will work but I will add it to my TODO list.

I dont know if that is possible with NSIS. Anyway, I dont see it very useful.

Use MoveEx.exe. It adds a pending file rename operation in the registry which is completed during system boot.
