  1. Both of them are not possible.
  2. Sorry, currently XPize does not allow that. You could try to make it manually, but that would like lot of work.
  3. Try reinstalling Windows and next time try not to mess with file modifications. Install a safe pack like XPize or test your modifications in a virtual machine before adding them to your actual system.
  4. I'm not getting that problem. Anyway, I will look for info out there.
  5. flupke: Thanks for the information All: I will try modding MPC for next version, but I'm afraid it will not support high quality bitmaps...
  6. My ideas for XPize 5 are: - Fixing / optimizing 4.x issues. - New fresh Visual Style, images, boot screen and logon (mixture between Vista and Royale without losing XP style). - Color schemes (or mods) support to switch between them. User will be able to create their own schemes. - Lite version will only be used for unattended / nLited installs (the lightest XPize version) - Full version will include all goodies plus an option to choose from 48x48 or 128x128 icons size. - Option to skip installation of icons, bmps or avis. If this will become a reality no one knows. I don't have time for all that stuff. I wish I can start working on it anytime soon, but I will be pretty busy for months. Remember: these are my ideas and intentions. That does not mean it will become true. Time will tell. For now, let's optimize 4.x as much as possible.
  7. Dynaletik: Hehe, you're my mirror-man bledd: The method has been and is by filetype. The thing is that if you want to uninstall those custom icons, XPize will turn them back to WMP defaults. If you dont have WMP, then you will get standard ugly icons (I pressume, never tried )
  8. XPize 4.5.1 Changelog Download Happy XPizing! UPDATE: What's New in XPize 4.5.1 Lite Files: - Removed syssetup.dll Resources: - Optimized bitmap 301 in batmeter.dll Other: - Fixed wrong deletion of OEM info
  9. I wish Windows boot screen can handle more than 16 colors...
  10. Probably with resahcker, but it won't be "universal", that is, available for all languages
  11. 1) XPize will reload all your files for you using XPize Reloader. No worries, but I recommend you to install XPize after all patches and programs have been installed. 2) .NET is required for XPize Settings, an application bundled with XPize which lets you tweak some desktop settings, among other things. You must install .NET 2.0 for it to work. If you don't need XPize Settings or are a .NET hater, do not install .NET. XPize will do its job just fine without it. 3) A couple of users reported that, so I thought it was a good idea to let users know about that issue. It is an uncommon one, so don't worry. I can't help on that because I don't use such kind of devices. By thw way, I am XPero and my application is XPize
  12. The second option sounds better
  13. Those 2 files are untouched by XPize, so I dont think it is XPize related. Sorry, I can't help on that :/
  14. Try without quotes or put quotes at the beginnng and the end of the statement...just a thought.
  15. This bug cannot be fixed unless you talk to MS. In order to fix your problem, install xpize with none of the components checked, but do check the tahoma tweak option. Then run the uninstaller, check the tahoma option for uninstall (and the "remove uninstalller..." if you want). Restart.
  16. Nice you have found the solution. And welcome to MSFN
  17. HI guys, I dont have too much time to follow this thread, but I just let you know that if you need my help you just have to drop me a PM.
  18. The only way to find out which file is causing that issue is the "try & fail" method. If yo have time, try uninstalling DLLs after Wordperfect works fine again, then you will discover which file was causing the problem. If you are not "ready" for that, I will get a trial copy of Wordperfect and try myself, but I'm currently very busy with school.
  19. Check your PM
  20. No, sorry. It would b a good idea to develop, but no time for such a large project.
