  1. Topic closed. Logon rip-off investigation begins...
  2. Very nice improvements, congrats Couple of suggestions: - I think the flag I posted will fit much better (see attachement). - Look in the image I've attached. Can you please remove the "wasted" space in the start button, so it will look like in my image? Compare my image and the current state and you will see the "wasted" space I'm talking about. - I still dont like the font. I prefer default Windows one. Trebuchet for title bars and Tahoma for the rest of the OS. You're doing a great job, keep it coming!
  3. The only think I dont like is the orb, the rest is perfect (you took the best of Vista)
  4. http://download.windowsvista.com/dl/previe...CFRE_EN_DVD.iso Enjoy
  5. I think this one looks better than yours. Anyway, this alleged rip-off must be clarified first.
  6. I agree, maybe you can add this instead of the orb(see attach.)? The old start button was better, I just asked for colors
  7. When you install XPize, make sure you select "UXtheme patch" in the compoments page. This will allow you to use 3rd party (unsigned) themes.
  8. Hello Hanza. I wrote the XPize Guide in response to that. Please, grab a copy of it Here (scroll down) I think that the guide is pretty explanatory. Anyway, if you have more questions, do not hesitate in posting here or sending me an email. If you want more themes, go to themexp or devianart.

    Luna Element 4. Thanks
  10. @ Pgase: - Please make buttons and progress bar "shiny". For example the Tabs are perfect, can you please add the same style? - Please put Trebuchet as default font. - Please try to add Windows colors to the start button flag. Current one rocks, but I think it will look better with a colorful Windows flag. - Please change the name shown in Display Properties to "Luna Royale" instead of "Style Windows XP Luna Royale XPize". - Found a bug (see attachment) Thanks! This VS rocks.
  11. If you have problems with a file, of course you must uninstall it yourself, then install the new XPize version. Also, I always add code in new versions to try to fix old versions issues and make the upgrade transparent and bug free. but be sure that if a new version of XPize requires the uninstall of an older one because important changes have been made, I will state it clearly.
  12. It may even be an install and forget app however since people are forced to uninstall it before installing new versions don't patch some files anymore it's an enormous security risk if old versions of the files are restored: it makes the system vulnerable. Also it breaks applications like WMP that do an heavy check on all the files versions. You shouldn't backup the files: you should backup the replaced resources and put them back if the files is still the same you patched when you uninstall xpize. That way you save hd space and also you avoid all security risks because the system files dll/exe code remains the same and only resources are changed. You're wrong. New XPize versions can be installed on top of old ones. No need to uninstall.
  13. Yes, but XPize is an install and forget app. You dont have to think about uninstalling it after 2 months. If you dont like it, you will realize in a couple of days maximum, right? Anyway, this is fixed for next one.
  14. What's the "C:\windows\xpize\Backup" dir used for then? Aren't those files restored? You're right. That's a XPize flaw that I've just fixed. XPize Reloader will backup newest files, so when uninstalling you will have latest version of files restored. Coming in next version
  15. I dont see how it can be done. Anyway, this is not an intersting feature for the average user IMO, sorry
  16. Why are you installing it twice and using different methods? I dont see it as a good practice, but I would like to know your reasons
  17. 1) Files not patched anymore will not be restored. I will let you all know when a version can be upgraded or must be installed cleanly. 2) It restores the backup version.
  18. Woww, i liked your wallpaper. Where could i find it? Here it is. Sorry if sharing it is not allowed, but I cant remember where I got it. http://img238.imageshack.us/my.php?image=n...sion0wq8ro4.jpg
  19. Uninstalling XPize completely must solve the issue, because XPize puts nack all the original files. If the problem persists, try the Restorewe Point XPize creates for you.

    XPize Mods released

    No, they're not integratable.
  21. nLite would be a good option (if not the best)
  22. Getting better and better
  23. @ Dynaletik: Thanks * 100 @ mgadallah: Do it after XPize, because XPize patches winntbbu.dll when used with nLite / XPized CD.
  24. A quick update of XPize has been released. syssetup.dll was causing problems during XP installation.
