    Accessing Files

You need to take ownership of the folder. It's under properites and then security. If the files were encrypted you'll probably never get them back.
  2. Change your dvdrom and dvdr to something like x and y. That will free up D so you can make your second hard drive D. Then change your dvdrom and dvdr back to E and F (or what ever you want). I'm a big fan of one partiton per drive.
  3. All of what you suggest is exactly what I thought when I first made it. I was going to fix those things but said to myself “screw it, I’ll just start over”. However, I never did get around to fixing it or redesigning it. Maybe I’ll get around to it now. Thanks for looking Ge0ph
  4. I really don't know. I wish someone else would chime in here.
  5. I just thought I would show my site as it seems that's what this forum is for. I don't update it much and it hasn't changed much either. Here it is. Warning: it does have a lot of graphx
  6. Are you running in Apps mode or Admin mode? In Admin mode you are only allowed two concurent login's. I fairly sure this has nothing to do with your problem but I'm just grabbing for anything now. Sorry I'm not much help.
  7. I have a freind that ran into the same thing. After much calling around and researching he found out that he can't. He bought them all at the same time and found out they all need to stay together and he couldn't break them up.
  8. I was thinking the same thing and "Why is Norton running during setup anyway?" Maybe it should be installing but not running.
  9. I’m guessing here but: Are the new accounts Admin accounts? I remember having a problem similar to this a while back and I had to either make the new accounts Admin accounts or add them to the list of accounts that can access the server via Remote Desktop.
  10. IE opens every single site I visit correctly. No other browser does. So, I really don't care about anything else other then weather or not the sites I visit render correctly. Most users feel the same way. Why run browser B and then use browser A for a few sites that it is needed when you can just run browser A and veiw all sites.
  11. His instructions were clear. 2. Change the file system on the entire drive to FAT32 from NTFS. Any you said: C drive --> 10GB (ntfs) DOS cannot see NTFS and so DOS, being the dumb OS that it is, just labels the first partition it reconizes as C: That's why he said change the file system on the entire drive to FAT32.
