Terminal Server Problem

Featured Replies

Windows 2003 Enterprise.

I create new users and they can not connect to the server Using Remote Desktop. Two users I have created before will work fine. But if I create a new user or copy one of the two that works correctly. It will not connect. It will start I can put in the username and password. but then it just closes the connection. It is only with the new accounts created. Not the old ones.

Any Idea's?

I’m guessing here but:

Are the new accounts Admin accounts?

I remember having a problem similar to this a while back and I had to either make the new accounts Admin accounts or add them to the list of accounts that can access the server via Remote Desktop.

Yes admins account and part of the remote desktop users groups. Still not working. I am really stumped

Are you running in Apps mode or Admin mode?

In Admin mode you are only allowed two concurent login's.

I fairly sure this has nothing to do with your problem but I'm just grabbing for anything now. Sorry I'm not much help.
